I wasn't expecting much based on previous reviews. I also knew I would not be putting books in these cubes! This is defiantly not for heavy objects. The panels are made of a vinyl-type material with a metal frame. This is perfect for what I bought it for...yarn storage. Assembly was easy and it came with a hammer to gently tap the pieces together. I would imagine this could be good for towels or clothes as long as they are not stuffed too full. It might also be good for stuffed animals or storage of toys, but I don't know how the doors would hold up to kids. There is a small magnet that holds the door closed and the doors are optional. I love the fact that there is a back panel so things don't fall out the back. I had wire shelves similar to this years ago but there was not a back panel or a door. It does take time and patience to assemble. Very sturdy, holds my craft supplies. Bought it for my yarn and sewing supplies. Very happy with how well made it is. It also came with the strap to anchor to the wall. Ordering two more to complete my craft room’s storage needs.

    • What I expected...but still missing pieces

I got this to hold the overflow of clothing I have. It was pretty sturdy and simple to put together. I like that it is supposed to come with all the tools you need to put it together however... I sent the first delivery back for missing pieces and this one is missing them as well. They are the last pieces you need to put it together, the magnets that keep the doors opening and securely shut. I really wish they came with my second package but they were missing again. I wish they could be sent to me but I’m not in the mood to deal with that...lol. Another thing to note is the plastic is “staticky” all my dogs hair clings to it. Not a problem but I have to wipe it often. Overall a great cheap storage solution! ... show more

Was simple to put together and the design is genius, however, it is flimsy and hard to snap into place. For the price, it was not worth the money. I would not recommend this for purchase to anyone. I bought it for T-shirt storage, it works but I am skeptical of how long it will stand up.

    • Not Sure What Everyone is Complaining About!

Okay so I may take a picture of this later and put it up BUT know that this thing IS Sturdy! Just don’t be STUPID and out bowling balls in it, or something unreasonably heavy and you will be fine. But for me, let me help you out here..I’m a plus size woman who rocks a 3x-4x I’m clothing so my clothes are significantly heavier than the average gal and I have used this entire thing to house my clothes and it hasn’t collapsed or broken down in me AT ALL! Our ps4 sits on top of it along with one or two decorations. Hasn’t collapse or fallen. I like to roll up my clothes to make more room and to save them from getting wrinkly and again it hasn’t collapsed. BUT! You have to assemble it WELL! It took me about 2 hours to put this thing together and.m I don’t regret it at all. The magnetic tabs are my least favorite edition since they didn’t quite snap to the doors but other than that this thing is Very helpful! So! Can it hold clothes? Yes! Bowling balls, heavy toolboxes, a crap ton of glossaries off encyclopedias? Probably NOT. The bottom is Not solid, but is sturdy enough to hold if you’re REASONABLE with what you put on it…so Be realistic with your storage and remember that it IS PLASTIC, People!! PLAST-IC! The media could not be loaded. It was an easy setup (some steps took a little more effort but overall easy) it looks nice and sleek, almost modern. Seems to be pretty sturdy but not sturdy enough for heavy heavy objects. And it can be broken down to use again if you move a lot! Would definitely recommend this. ... show more

I waited a while to post my review. We purchased this for our college kid to use in a small loft during college overall it worked very well. There were a few doors that did not stay closed but after realigning, there were no issues. We are happy with our purchase.

    • Extremely difficult to put together, fragile connectors & doors

I received this with the box damaged after it was delayed in shipping. It came with no instructions, no instructing on the ad of how to properly put together. Other reviews stayed out was easy to put together and I'm mechanically inclined, so I thought it couldn't be that hard, right?! Wrong! After 3 hrs I was putting it back in the damaged box I'm going to tape back together because it's so hard to put together any instructions or the little mallet they said they provide. One door broke at the weld, several connectors broke rendering them unusable, a few door magnets snapped from light pressure from my index finger to put it in a connector. I got one cube made only to discover that the door wouldn't close properly. I think even with everything I would need, it is so poorly made. Not even worth the money. I got it because I needed to make a counter divider and tow would have been perfect because I could use it for so many different things between the two rooms. This should only be sold for $20 and even then, walt for a sale before buying. Save yourself some money, you'll need it for the drinks after your full day you'll need to put it together. ... show more
