  • it has powered up, but has not worked as of yet
I have asked questions and had to figure it out myself, for others trying to make the A3 work, it needs the sha-256 I believe and alot says it can only do saicoin, but that is not true

  • They were great! Regarding the miner
I should start with the seller of the Antminer I purchased. They were great! Regarding the miner, if you have never experienced an ASIC miner in person then you have no idea how something this small can be so loud! This is not something you can plug into a wall in the living room and ever hope to hear the TV or carry on a conversation with others. In addition to the noise there is the massive amount of heat that is generated. Great for winter. This, and really ASIC miner, is meant for a garage or a data center in my opinion. These are the only 2 negatives as the device worked as it should and it is really easy to setup. I cannot give it a lesser rating because I have had experience with ASIC miners so I knew what to expect. My hope is this helps lessen the surprise to you if you are a first time buyer. ... show more

  • Don't Waste Your Money!
The A3 is worthless! SIAcoin difficulty has risen to OVER 40TH and running the A3 costs more money in electricity than what it makes. It's not even a paper weight it's DEAD weight. Buy SIAcoin directly, at least you won't lose your money as fast.!

  • Research
Read directions! Make sure your PSU is appropriate. I've seen some reviews where the miner didnt work. Mine didnt at first until I got a proper PSU and power cord. It consumes the power advertised and gets the hashrate as advertised

  • Great for beginner
Nutri nice minor but little lackluster

  • I bought it for the case
Was looking for a case, with a strong fan for air cooling. This was it! Fits my PSU, GPU and GIGABYTE BRIX motherboard all just fine! Easy to carry, small in size! The Antminer A3 or D3 is now obsolete. It no longer is profitable; the main reason these go for so cheap! However, they can be repurposed! Perhaps fit new boards in, or just use the metal housing to make a portable gaming PC, or Folding machine! ... show more

  • The seller was great. Arrived as advertised
The seller was great. Arrived as advertised. Setup and mining within 10 minutes. No surprises. It's as loud as you would expect. Fans run faster than the L3+ since the power consumption is higher. Initial rate is 146.13 SC per (6) hours on 4/8/2018.
