Pros: One of my cats has a made a mission out of attempting to shred my new couch. These covers stick well, they are fairly thick, they look fine since they are see-through and she does not seem to like to scratch the plastic covers. Cons: She has now moved her scratching territory to the small uncovered sections of the couch uncovered by these plastic strips. It's difficult to cover every inch of the couch, not would you want to. Also the clips included don't work on the type of material my couch is made of (leather-like)- although it doesn't seem to matter currently since they are sticking well. I have solved the problem for now by putting a new scratching post next to the spot where she destroys the couch the most - that appears to be working for now. So a combo of a new cat post plus these plastic covers is working for now - good luck 🤞 ... show more

I have a cat that runs and tries to use everything as a scratching post. This absolutely stopped her from scratching the couch and it was so easy to apply. It was basically a peel and place. The adhesion seems to be extremely durable.

The product was easy to apply but the pieces detached fairly quickly. The cats cannot penetrate them so that was nice however, they seem to have lost their adhesiveness. The pins to keep them attached to the sofa have began to work themselves out. Overall, I’d go a different route.

with this product, I have saved one corner of my couch that one of my cats kept scratching, and it actually doesn’t show up that badly. But it’s definitely not something that I would put on my entire piece of furniture so it’s not the complete answer needed.
