Really happy with these cable extensions. They’re a great value and very well built. I did notice one of my 24 pin cables was loose in the plug but I was able to push it back to it’s locked position. Do be warned however that, since these are 16 gauge and sleeved, the cables are fairly stiff and hard to train around bends. Plus, since all the individual cables in any of the extensions are the same length, the cables on the inside of the bend will be too long to keep the rest of the extension straight. You’ll need to find a way to take up the excess length. I did this on the back side of the motherboard tray by bowing the excess cables out of alignment. Note the distorted cables in the picture. The 24 pin is by far the hardest to train properly but take your time and use the extra combs to train the excess cables length to lay flat behind the motherboard. Also, since I built in a smallish case, there was a lot of extra cable length I needed to stash in the case basement. The final results looks great! ... show more

I do my own sleeving and can identify quality parts. The Wire is 16 gauge and white wire was use which works with light colored sleeving. The sleeve is a tight weave which makes a huge difference! Extra cables so you have matching sleeve for other components. As for the comment about being stiff: That's the nature of PEX sleeve. There's no way around that. If you want something more flexible use paracord sleeved cables. Quality paracord sleeved cables aren't available on Amazon. Not so great: Cable sleeves are crimped into the molex crimp connector. I prefer melting the sleeves via heat shrink and then removing the heat shrink. This is a tedious process but that's what I like. The cable inner and outer are the same length (no arc or rainbow as some call it.) I had to shorten them to achieve the fit and look. Bottom line: Excellent quality components VERY reasonable price Very fast delivery when in a hurry to knock out a build ... show more

Very happy I bought these. Extremely simple to use, plus the included cable combs made manipulating these pretty simple. A few things though. 1) people are not exaggerating that these are stiff and will require form patience to work with and 2) they add a bit of work in terms of cable management since they are EXTENSIONS. However, I was much happier with these than I was with the Cablemod full replacement set I bought for my PSU close to a year ago. These look much better (THICKER) and cleaner overall. I recently purchased a Phanteks Pro M Tempered Glass case (Black/White model) for my MSI Gaming Plus X470 motherboard. I chose the white Antec cables and used four (4) of them to connect to my motherboard. Unfortunately, the 8-pin cable did not fit the 8-pin socket on my motherboard so I contacted Antec. They wrote back quickly and sent me a replacement (albeit 4+4 cable) that works perfectly! I would have liked to rate this product 4.5 stars for my inconvenience but since Antec was so gracious I decided to round up to 5 stars instead of rounding down to 4 stars! Very importantly I should add that the cables are very well made and they look fantastic! ... show more

Full disclosure, I'm 45, haven't built a computer in 30 years, and my review is a sample size of one. TLDR, I like them and the look legit which is the goal. I'd buy them again. BUT, I get the concerns in other reviews b/c the thickness reduces flexibility. It's a balance between form and function. As some stated, these are quite thick. That is good thing....I think. They look awesome IMO and I had no QC issues with the wires, they were all in top notch condition. The thickness means being super diligent about prepping and routing them. They will benefit from being pre-bent and flexed around so they can be routed and installed as easy as possible. It isn't without headaches though for the same reasons, they're thick and more difficult to bend. 24 pin connector - mucho wires on this sleeve and limited real estate to curve them into the back of the case means, once plugged in, there is pressure put onto it motherboard connector. Tight fit in the case (NZXT H510 Elite) so its a short space for the wires to curve into which creates pressure on things. It worries me even though they look great and are operating as designed (day 4 after build). CPU power - same problem, limited real estate means a tight corner which means pressure can flex against case or motherboard once connected. GPU - again, same thing. thickness of wires creates tension which made it tedious to get just right. the aesthetics were being impacted once i started to cable manage, in large part bc of the stiffness of the cables. ... show more

These are a LITTLE stiff. IMO, that's a good thing. It speaks to the construction. The length is more than adequate for use in a larger case with the PSU hidden under the mobo. Plenty of cable combs included (more than you will need, for sure) and I've had NO problems with performance.

I wanted a nice clean look in my white case and that's what I got. The material used for the sleeving is rough so it captures light smoothly, a flat glow (vs. being shiny), so the look matches well the flat white inside my NZXT H510 Elite. These cables though are incredibly stiff and the little wire separators are sometimes really tough to get installed let alone "slide" into a visually appealing place once you manage to get them to bend. It would have been nice to have found some 90-degree or 180-degree hard plastic connectors for the motherboards (or at least have it as a well-advertised side option) as that would make it much easier to deal with some of the tightness of his case, but that's a small quibble.
