This holster is quite comfortable. I had it on for 5-6 hours recently and it never bothered me at all. It was very comfortable to wear. I had a Sig P938 in it and that fit easily. I don't know that a full size (ex 1911) would fit well, but that would be too big to have on my ankle (without printing a lot). It appears to be well made but I honestly can't say how durable it is due to only owning it for about 1 week. I do expect it will last and should hold up quite well. ... show more

This was my first ankle holster, purchased for a specific event last minute. Good product for the money. Very comfortable to wear and the holster stays in place on your leg, no riding down. Seems to be made from quality materials and will work for various firearms. Concealed my very small Taurus .380 very well. For this tiny gun the retention strap wasn't completely snug, but the firearm was not going anywhere. I would rate this product a solid 9/10. Would be perfect if the retention strap was adjustable. Out the gate it was a very comfortable holster. Stayed in place as far as I could tell while moving and doing various activities. The only thing that I noticed is with the s&w 380 bodyguard, it's a small weapon so the strap to secure it is lose. It will 100% hold the pistol in but it can wiggle a good bit. My psa dagger fits the holster but it's blatantly obvious I have a firearm. Considering it was purchased with the bodyguard in mind, I don't mind if the dagger fits or not. Over all I like it a lot and recommend it for a 2nd carry holster. ... show more

This holster is well padded and comfortable, but I found it very difficult to put on. It may be a fat-man issue (I'm a big guy), but I had trouble getting the velcro smoothly attached on my ankle. I've always worn the right handed holster on the inside of my left leg, which I think is better concealment and an easier draw. However, that puts this holster's velcro attachment on the outside of my left leg. This was a very difficult location to reach with both hands to keep the inner strap smooth while stretching and fastening the outer strap. If you can reach adequately to attach it, this would be a fine holster, but I couldn't do it. I've used an Uncle Mike's ankle holster for my .380, and will buy another for my Shield 9. Uncle Mike's attachment is on the front of the ankle and SO much easier to access! Uncle Mike's isn't as well padded as this holster, but ease of use out-weighs a little extra padding, which I can probably add myself. ... show more
