I couldn't mount the antenna bracket on the bolt closest to the hinge because the antenna would have hit the charge port bulge on my 4xe. So I installed it into the hole that's closer to the hood and it worked perfectly. The included spacer holds the bracket so the antenna still points straight up and keeps the bracket from contacting the front part of the charge port. The textured black powder coat finish matches other parts of the jeep and looks great too. Easy to install, it only took about 2 minutes. ... show more

Perfect for a discreet antenna mount on your jeep. Comes with spacers & standoffs to protect your paint, too. Not sure if it is wide enough to be an effecitve ground plane, but it will probably be ok.

Most, maybe all, 3/8" antenna mounting studs use a nylon insulating bushing which requires a 1/2" hole. The hole in the is 1/32" too small and the bushing doesn't fit. To use this I will have to drill it out a little. I was hoping it would fit my TJ, which it *almost* fits. The included screw and spacer might be right for a post 2006 Wrangler, but not at all for the TJ, which is not their fault, they don't advertise that! But, if I source my own screw and make an appropriate spacer it WILL fit a TJ. ... show more

Decent antenna mount for the right antenna base. Be nice if they had an NMO sized one as well. Fits the 2024 Gladiator just fine.

I like that you can install it on either screw location on the cowl. The included spacer means it 'fits' the gap perfectly. The build is good, metal is thick and strong. The drilled hole for the antenna fits my NMO adapter, and while the antenna I have will work, it's too large for the mount and sits off just a bit. Not the end of the world, I'm actually going to be using a different antenna on this jeep anyway. ... show more

I know it's hard to imagine this, but... I have an awning at the corner of my house, and I wanted to secure its frame to the house's framing. I used 6" screws to attach it to the house (right through the trim), making sure the round hole aligned with the the tubular-steel awning frame. I then bolted it to/through the frame (about an inch and a half below the corner), using longer bolts I'd purchased for the job. I think I made a great decision, because that thing is super secure now -- all possible because of this high-quality mount. ... show more
