My only "negative" is that it is in a bright brushed gold - in between brushed and gloss- and I really wanted gloss. But I bought anyway because it had features I needed. The Angle Simple Swivel Towel Hook 3 Arms Matte Black has smooth, firm movement of the independent swing arms. The arms are separated by nylon washers which should extend the useful life of the swing arms. The unit has a very small mounting plate that is installed first and then the operating swivel hook section is secured via a hex key that sets a small screw upward against the mounting plate. This mounting plate is fitted into the bottom ½ of the arm base and located at approximately the midpoint of the center arm to center point of the bottom arm. The set screw does not have a designated ‘set point’ or hole. The screw simply butts-up to the metal in the slightly curved end. I marked around its shape with a Micron pen to show that area. I am skeptical that a point smaller than #2 pencil lead at the bottom of the mounted swivel arm hook will hold the weight and tug of normal use. I intend to mount this hardware as instructed. If during use it becomes unstable, I may drill a small hole to see if that improves the set screw’s ability to apply pressure. This smooth-gliding swivel hook was the perfect solution for a somewhat unusual problem I was having with my old towel hook. With my old towel hook, the towels always seemed to get trapped in the shower door when I would close it. With this new hook, I can position the towels off to the right and never have that problem again! Also, I can easily hang THREE towels or two towels and a back scrubber (or whatever) on this hook. I really like this 3-arm hook and highly recommend it! TIP: Dab the silver screw with some black nail polish so that it matches better. That would be my only complaint about this product, but it's not a big enough issue to knock a full star off from my review. ... show more

This Angle Simple Swivel Towel Hook 3 Arms Matte Black is made of 304 Stainless Steel, it looks very nice on my wall in the kitchen. It was easy to install and it did come with directions. I have it by my stove and I hang my pot holders from it. The arms move freely and allow me to hand a lot of pot holders and it keeps them handy by my stove.
