Ok I will start by saying I received this projector through the Amazon Vine program so it did not cost me anything. I also own 5 other projectors , 4 I have purchased and another was free of charge. I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this VOPLLS Home Theater projector because the price was much less than other projectors I have ordered. Was I mistaken. This is a GREAT projector. First off it comes beautifully packaged with everything you could possible need and some bonus unexpected items including a screen, accessory cables, remote, HDMI cable and even a handy tripod I already own a tripod so didn't need this one. It also includes a VERY detailed instruction booklet, so much so that I opted to use my projector experience and set this projector up without reading it. Set up was intuitive and very easy. Wifi and bluetooth connections a breeze. It has many built in apps including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and MANY more. Because I can never remember my passwords, I opted to use my Roku streaming stick since all apps are already set up, but for someone with a a good memory and knows all their passwords, the convenience of built in streaming apps is great. One less cord to plug in. Granted I am viewing this projector in the middle of the day with windows uncovered and the room very bright, but the picture is beautifully clear and is the clearest of ALL my projectors. The auto focus and keystone worked perfectly. I can't wait to see the picture tonight when it's darker. I am certain the picture will be crystal clear. I am always adjusting focus on my other projectors which really irritates my wife. I don't that will be an issue any more. The clarity looks perfect. It's a dynamite little projector and the company obviously put a lot of thought into this projector and the great package it comes with. This projector is easily 5 star! I have tried other LED mini projectors from friends and I also own a couple. Most of them either have pretty low resolution (720p or even 480 or they require absolute darkness to be able to see anything, as they are lacking in brightness. This one has neither of those drawbacks. It is fairly small and light and very easy to set up, and it has several ways to connect any video device to it, whether wired or wireless and includes a couple of cables to that end. It also comes with a portable screen that I have yet to try as it is too much hassle to set up indoors. I will try it when I have a backyard get together maybe. A word on the remote. You need to keep track of it as it is the only way to control the projector. There are no knobs or buttons on the projector itself other than a power button. Once on, the first thing it does is to project a couple of black and white patterns which it uses to automatically adjust both the focus and the keystone, so you end up with a perfect picture regardless where you set it up. You can even mount it upside down as it has the feature for inverting the image, but it is not automatic. The auto functions do a really good job, which I hadnt seem before except in higher priced projectors. You may no need to connect anything to it, as it has android built in, so you can stream youtube, netflix, etc. I have been really pleased with this projector and it is small and light enough to go in my laptop bag for those occasions when a presentation is needed.     • Set up took a while but worth it
Wasn't sure I knew what I was doing as the cap wouldn't come off and I just saw fuzzy white light. The pictures showed no cap on it so I finally pried the cap off and everything went mostly smooth after that. It first told me Netflix was no longer supported. I tried again and it told me it required an update. After installing update it worked well. I had to update other programs as well. It was pretty easy to do. I found that there is some significant lag when you cast but if you play directly from the apps on the projector it runs smoothly. I like the remote control and love that it comes with a tripod. Makes setting it up and using it a breeze. The included screen is great for outdoor use. While indoors I just play it on a blank wall. The remote uses two AAA batteries that are not included. The sound is great and definitely loud enough to be heard when projecting movies. ... show more
