I've always wanted wireless CarPlay, and this adapter works pretty well for my 2023 Kia Sportage SX Prestige. After using it for about three months, I really enjoy the convenience of not having to plug my phone into the car system every time I go somewhere. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because, occasionally, it won’t connect to my phone despite being connected via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. However, a quick unplug and replug of the adapter usually fixes the issue. I’ve also noticed a slight lag when changing songs using the steering wheel button, but it’s manageable. Overall, I recommend this adapter! There are instructions for fine-tuning settings through its IP address, but I haven’t explored that yet. When I recently upgraded my iPhone the usb-c cable did not connect to apple audio on my factory head unit. I thought it was strange how a lighting cable worked but usb-c didn't. Every time I need to drive somewhere, I always need music. This adapter was the best solution and decision I ever made. Here are the reasons why. 1.) Metal casing with a braded cable attached. Most adapters I have seen on the market is housed in a plastic case with a flimsy cable that degrades after a few months of use. 2.) The adapter is small and compact. Makes it a convivence to store the device in your center console without taking up much space. 3.) Wi-Fi and Bluetooth compatibility. Once you get the device set up in your vehicle you can disconnect from Bluetooth. All features such as music, navigation, and phone calls will work while only on Wi-Fi. Just remember when you turn off your vehicle, you will have to turn on Bluetooth again for it to connect to your radio. After connection Bluetooth will disconnect automatically, simple and hassle free. 4.) Sound quality is great. I didn't experience any issues with lag during phone calls or navigation. The only time I notice a slight lag is when switching songs which is very minor to me but over-all it is functional on my apple play factory radio. Please keep in mind, this device will only work on apple play/android audio enabled radios. If your factory radio does not have these features the device will not work. Also, it may depend on what year your vehicle if it is compatible. If you have any further questions, contact the manufacture or seller before your purchase. ... show more
