Bought this as a replacement for my old iPad as I am a heavy YouTube user. So far the product exceeded my expectations. 1. Size. The 10.1 inch is very handy -- light in weight and easy to carry around. I can easily fit it in my backpack. 2. Display. The resolution is not as high as the apple retina display but for such a small screen it really doesn't make any difference to me. The display is crystal clear and it has multiple modes like dark mode, night mode and etc. When watching videos the display has no lag and the color is very vivid. I'm very satisfied with the effect. 3. Sound. The built-speaker is loud and clear. I usually cast to a TV or soundbar and the output is amazing. I assume the sound chip used by this pad is of high quality. 4. Speed. All the apps I downloaded run pretty faster and smooth. Compared to my old iPad, the performance of the pad is definitely much faster. I'm really enjoying playing games on it. 5. Camera. I'm not a heavy camera user but at least I'm satisfied with the pictures taken. 6. Battery. Very long lasting. I can safely watch video for 10+ hours and this is good enough for me. The pad uses type c charging port so easy to find charger and cable. No need to worry about battery life. 7. This pad even comes with keyboard, mouse and screen protector! What a plus! When I purchased this item the first decision I had to make was the same as anyone else who needs to get a new tablet: 1. Does it have the latest version of software. 2. Will I need to buy a bunch of stuff after I buy this. 3. Is it going to work a year from now 4. Does it do what I need it to do 5. Can I afford to buy it. When I bought this tablet it was the only one running the latest software. I’ve heard a lot of silly talk about how google os always have things you don’t need but I’m not a techie or technology genius and even I know that if you don’t want to use any google app all you do is turn off auto update and don’t use it and it doesn’t even bother you. Some people say that it’s an app taking up space and they want control of that space for some reason but even Microsoft has things that most people don’t use so every operating system has that kind of thing. I’m positive that if you want that kind of tablet then you can build your own. The most important thing I like about this tablet is that the people who are selling it care about the customer experience so that this comes with EVERYTHING THAT YOU WANT out of the box!! Every little thing! Even stuff you don’t know you need is in that box! 😳 imagine my surprise that I might need an actual keyboard, mouse, screen protector, and YES even a protective case for your awesome new tablet! And that’s including the “usual stuff” like a wired connection in case your headphones need that AND the charger cable to charge your tablet. I mean seriously! Does any company even care if we have fun after we open the box of their tablet? Yes, DEERTIME does care because they supply everything you need and the price is amazingly reasonable for all of it. As for it working a year from now? Well, I’m smart enough to do the two most important things like backing up everything to the cloud and purchasing the protection plan that’s offered. I know I’ll have a tablet a year from now and 2 years from now. I’ve been working this tablet out for a month and when I say “working it out” I mean that seriously! Games, apps, safe mode, loading, installing, uninstalling, making sure dangerous software can’t get on it . I’ve looked at the speed of the tablet which is awesome and the speed at which it does the different jobs including how it gets on WiFi and how it comes out of safe mode (no WiFi connections in safe mode!) how it downloads and uninstalls the apps. I played with the keyboard and it’s really a good size. It’s really a great package and I highly recommend that anyone should hurry up and get this. It’s not a bunch of separate things that YOU try to make work. It’s a bunch of different things that are already working together and all you do is hook them up. To me, this last thing is and was super important. I’m on a budget and I’m pretty sure everyone in the world is on a budget since the COVID pandemic and as we continue to recover as a world. This tablet is so reasonably priced that I was sure it would be something that would be difficult to use or that the extras would be junky or something else bad. Imagine my happiness to find that I’ve gotten one heck of a great deal on a piece of technology that I absolutely need! When do we even get that nowadays? Well, here’s one I found. This is a great deal. I’m weirdly proud of these people who made this. Buy this, you won’t be disappointed and love yourself enough to get the protection plan so you won’t even have time to worry. HOWEVER, the battery on my tablet had a tendency towards heating up during charging so that I couldn’t keep it on my lap at those times. Two days ago during charging the screen overheated and the screen cracked in the upper left corner and the touchscreen ability stopped working properly. I’ve already said I’m not a tech genius so I can’t say why this happened. It’s possible it’s a factory defect. As always, Amazon customer care was awesome and supportive. The media could not be loaded. This was a Christmas present for my 7 year old daughter, and she loves it! The quality is definitely top tier and could be used for all ages, including adults. Functions wonderfully while playing games and watching videos. Faster than my regular laptop at loading! 10/10 would recommend. Easy setup, Lightweight, comes with a case, screen quality is pristine! I purchased this tablet to take with me to work when I am out in the field. The battery life is HORRIBLE. I get maybe 2 - 3 hours on a charge. The product information stated I would get 6 hours. That is not true. I received an email from the Vendor 1 week after I received the product with information on how to charge the unit before usage. I had already used it.
