The side grips work great to help stabilize the phone (Samsung S23+ with a case on!). Easy to install and seems to hold my iPhone 13 well. I have been using it on my road bike for the last week (~100 miles) and it stays solid on the bike despite few occasional road bumps. Will update if any issues after more extensive usage, but so far so good.

I was concerned about this fitting my S22 Ultra with an Otter Box Defender Case. The text on the page said it would, but it also said it only fits up to a 7" phone and mine with the case is 7.5" on the diagonal. This case just barely by maybe a few mm does fit. As for the mount, I can't use it, but I knew that. I bought this for my Goldwing motorcycle, which already has an excessive amount of tech mounted to it, but all using 1" (25mm) Ram Mount Balls. This phone holder is set for an ~11/16" (17mm) ball. I knew once I got this (if it fit my phone) I'd have to then buy adapters, but they were easy to find on Amazon. That said it is going to cost about $22 more dollars to make this work. I suppose I'll attach the provided mount to my bicycle and I think it will work fine for that. The quality seems good, and I think it will hold the phone well. The top and bottom are on a heavy spring. The left and right sides are what really lock the phone down. Once you catch the top and push the phone in you have to squeeze in the sides manually. After that, it is set. There is a button on the back that releases the sides. It seems like a good set up and even if something happened to the side locking mechanism the tightness of the spring would probably be sufficient to hold onto the phone. As of now (1-20-23) I haven't been able to use this yet, so this is all speculation on the quality/longevity. If it fails in any way, I will certainly return to edit this. ... show more

I've been using this for a while now, didn't want to leave a premature review. It works great, easy to install, and protects my phone. I haven't had any problems with it at all in the several months I've owned it. I fell in a horrible attempt to hop a curb, and it and my phone where fine.

I’ve tried a minimum of a dozen phone holder mounts. This one by far, is the best one. I ride my mountain bike four or five hours at a time and this phone mount is solid as a rock. Well done!
