I was nervous buying a rug online, but it I love it! It’s super soft and fluffy. It doesn’t look dirty at all after lots of use. It’s good sized. Definitely works great for a nursery or a fun room, but not one I would genuinely use as a living room rug.

Not really thick but super soft and promises to be washable which is great for a dorm room. They say it’s slippery. Unless you have elderly people around it is fine. We placed a fairly thick carpet pad under it and it is very nice and stays in place. I wouldn’t plan to use it without one because it is thin and would slide around. Recommend one rated for non slippage and made of 1/2” or so felt with rubber backing. This type of pad is more expensive but it turns this inexpensive but washable and soft rug into a super comfy option. ... show more

I’ve struggled with how I should rate this product. There are things about it that I love. I’ll begin by stating that it’s not technically a rug. It’s a mat. It’s synthetic fur attached to a foam mat like one of those bath mats, only much larger. I like that because It’s very light weight and super soft like rabbit fur. However, it’s an example of something that on the surface seems like a good idea, but was clearly not thought through. It’s very slick. Equivalent to walking on oil on a smooth surface. I would NOT walk across this carrying a baby nor would I let someone elderly walk across it. I slipped just in my bare feet. It is even more slippy in sock feet. I wanted something my toddler grandchild could sit and play on. It will serve this purpose as long as he doesn’t fall and hurt himself. This showed up in my recommendations, a 4x6 shag rug for only $20, in Grey. I was going to use this in my living room at my sofa, on top of a hardwood floor. I currently have a pair of rubber-backed mats with a dark fabric top. This rug came vacuum-packed to avoid another box, which was cool. It was fun to watch it expand after cutting open the bag. The appearance is more light blue-grey than a grey or dark grey. I decided it wasn’t adequate for the living room so I relegated it to my bedroom (though that also has a hardwood floor). It stays put very well and doesn’t slide. It runs almost the whole length of my Queen Size bed. It’s really more a mat / pad than a rug. It feels cushy underfoot , the shag is a bit slick. The shag with the light color makes me think it would have been better suited for a bathroom, but it’s too big for mine. I had planned on maybe getting a second one, but the light color throws me off. ... show more
