I purchased this rug for our home office turned virtual learning classroom so that my fourth grader had a comfy spot to curl up with a book during reading time or simply expel some energy between assignments (he has adhd). He loves this rug and so do I!! I do have a few thoughts to share- I ordered the grey and it is more of a bluish grey, though this works perfect for my needs!! This huge rug arrived in the smallest box which had me immediately thinking I’d made a mistake and ordered a bath mat! In fact, it was vacuum sealed and wrapped in plastic and I was shocked at how such a large rug could fit in a tiny box. This is NOT a super thick, plush carpet, but it does have a thin memory foam backing so it has some squish to it. The rug itself could not be softer. As for those reviews complaining that it is not a thick rug, I’d just like to suggest visiting some stores (even outlets) to get an idea of what a super high quality, thick rug costs. They are outrageous. This carpet is beyond comfortable for it’s price point!! I would definitely recommend and will be purchasing another for my son’s room! ... show more

I purchased this for my daughters room. It is so poorly made, and leaves a sticky/tacky residue on your feet when you walk across it. I get it. It was 50 something dollars, but It’s not even worth that!

This is the worst Amazon order I have ever received! Ordered 5ft x 8ft and it came in a 1ft x 1ft package. No base/mat/any form of protection. OMG!! I ordered the larger one, I expected to have to drag a huge, heavy rug into the house. It’s delivered hermetically sealed, in a very small box & once you break the seal, it expands! So light!! The foam backing holds it onto the wood floor easily. So soft too! I’d totally order it again!

    • Do you like to trap all of your dirt in a rug? Want to waste money?

This rug is the perfect rug for trapping dirt, dog hair, pieces of wood from outside, etc. The best part about that is when you move it to clean there is about a quart inch of dirt, and you cannot run the rug through the washing machine or it falls apart. After a month of use I threw it away and bought a rug at Lowe's. Don't even bother with this, just go buy a $40 rug from a home store. ... show more

I paid $150 for my last 2 shag rugs in a larger size that look just like this! The rug lies in the middle of highest traffic area and gets trashed within months. I was looking for less expensive options and came across this rug and the reviews with photos really helped! It comes vacuum sealed in a small square package and it will take a few hours for the wrinkles to come out but once it does - it’s apparent what a screaming deal it is! Also cat approved!! I bought this rug for my soon to be baby boys nursery. This rug is exactly what I expected for the price I paid, it’s super soft not to thick of padding (bummer but oh well) decent size and super cute. The only thing I am not a fan of is it smells very strongly like chemicals but I’m hoping with time and cleaning that will fade before baby gets here.
