Andalou Naturals Probiotic Cleansing Milk, Apricot, 6 fl oz. This is a European-style cleansing milk. It is not an oil, nor does it turn watery. It feels like a thick lotion when applied and during use it thins a bit. LIKES: No added perfume or synthetic fragrance. No shea butter, no alcohol. Soft scent, velvet texture, gently cleans dry to very dry skin. Makes my skin feel "bouncy and plump"! I've tried many cleansers for "normal-to-dry" skin which ALL dried out my skin. This is the first cleansing milk I have purchased. I chose it over more expensive ones like Shiseido & Caudalie b/c these two contain either alcohol (drying!) or shea butter (clogs pores). I will continue to use this product for cleaning my skin. It's especially good in the morning, and it removes normal sunscreens at the end of the day. If I use a long-wear foundation or waterproof mascara, I have to double-cleanse b/c this product does not take off long-wearing makeup. It Does take off normal mascara that is not waterproof (The type that comes off with "soap & water".) DISLIKES: none! I infrequently wear long-wear makeup so the cleansing properties of this product are perfect for me. As stated earlier, I double-cleanse when wearing long-wearing makeup. THANK YOU THANK YOU Andalou Naturals for making a cleanser for those of us with Dry & Sensitive skin! Massage it in for about 1-2 minutes. It feels like a cushion of velvet on your skin! It does not feel oily at all!     • Gentle, refreshing cleanser
I love the creamy texture of this facial cleanser. Unlike soapy cleansers it leaves no filmy residue and has no chemical sting. It's hydrating and moisturizing and rinses clean away leaving my skin feeling nourished and refreshed with a gentle fruit scent.

This face wash is very smooth and enriching for the skin. I was looking for a face wash that would clean without being an abrasive or harsh to my skin or had tons of chemicals and that didn’t have a hefty price. This seem to meet all those criteria. I have found this cleanser to be very pleasant. It does not leave my skin feeling stripped. Instead, it feels healthy and moisturized. I will say that I have not had good luck with this actually removing makeup so I use this as my second cleanse after I use a makeup remover of some kind (sometimes a cleansing balm if I wear heavier makeup, a gentle foaming cleanser if I wear lighter makeup, or micellar water if I don't wear any makeup). It has a very mild but pleasant scent that lends itself to the apricot, very natural. It has a great creamy texture that does not lather and feels very soothing. -1 star because it does boast its makeup removing efficacy however I did not experience that personally. I have finally decided in my 50s to execute a skincare routine other than face wipes ,much to my adult daughter's excitement (she's been telling me for years ).. I wanted something gentle yet effective at washing all the dirt, spf etc off because I'm in and out most of the day i.e. puppy. Very effective and really works.. I wiped my face the first few times of using the product with my expensive wipes afterwards ,just to see the results, no grime , nothing. Clean. It works .. the scent is great, not too heavy , light apricot like advertised. I'm not a fan of heavy scents in skincare. The Andalou cleansing milk is the way to go for mature skin or anyone with sensitive skin..I was on the fence with cleansing milk in general because I was unsure about effectiveness. I'm a convert. I highly recommend! The cost of this product is very fair and it has lasted me for a few weeks now with using it a.m. and p.m. as you can see , it's only half gone and that's with using a generous amount. Hopefully this review helps anyone who is unsure about skin care like I was and still learning ! Excellent! Will certainly be purchasing again. ... show more

After using this for a 2-3 weeks I had to come back to Amazon, where I made my order and see what in the notes and reviews caused me to order this product as it is new to me. And I see all the good reviews and descriptions of this cleansing milk… but I’ve been disappointed in the fact that mine smells quite old and stale?? Maybe it was from an old batch? It is soft and creamy…although I do need to use another product on a Q tip to remove my eye makeup pencil as this cleansing milk doesn’t remove it. I probably wouldn’t reorder…or maybe won’t even finish this bottle 🤷🏼♀️ It’s preferable to use something that smells at least somewhat nice. ... show more
