    • Big package, small price.
I felt like this product deserved a review because for its price point it is quite impressive. It can accomplish what a professional device could at a fraction of the price. I bought this to diagnose an overheating issue, and after a system scan it informed me of 3 different fault codes relating to the water pump (as suspected), and gave me a brief description of what exactly happened that caused the problem. I then replaced the water pump, and subsequently cleared the fault codes on the device. Started my car and restarted the device, scanned system again, no fault codes. So it really works. Also cleared an airbag light on my dash that was an eye sore. This thing will also give you real time data of engine functions/ properties, and its extremely user friendly, I could probably still use it if I was blind. ... show more

No dislikes maybe it didn't have the 26-20 pin adapter. It's extra and can be purchased separately, I don't need it yet. Used to check the codes for check engine light. Really good compared to an old one I had.

    • Unit *DID NOT* work on a 2010 535xi for battery registration...
I tried connecting this to my 2010 535xi to register the battery and it did allow access to any modules in my car. Its strange because it shows my specific model of BMW but will not connect to anything in the car. This is the second OBD scanner I bought on Amazon to register the battery and this also will not work. While this is a different brand name, I suspect they are the essentially the same, just with slightly different packaging as the menus look identical with identical options for specific vehicles. My car is stock with no upgrades of any kind so I think these units may be BS. I wrote to the company directly with my issue, and I am willing to reverse my feedback if there is a simple fix but as of now, DO NOT purchase this unit. And for the record, I attempted connecting in all three ignition positions without success accessing any of the car's modules. So, junk?? ... show more

    • Does not let you change battery capacity - BMW X3 (2015)
I have a BMW X3 (2015). I bought this to register the new battery. My existing battery was 105 Ah. The problem is this does not let you change battery capacity. It gives you a warning that the capacity of the new battery must be the same as the one you are taking out. Returning this.
