I recently used Anbesol Maximum Strength Oral Anesthetic Liquid after a filling chipped, and it provided quick relief from the pain. The numbing effect kicked in almost immediately, which was a lifesaver during those first few moments of discomfort. However, I did notice that the liquid causes a somewhat odd sensation in the throat and on the tongue due to the numbing effect spreading slightly beyond the targeted area. While the fast-acting relief is fantastic, the duration is quite short. The numbing sensation only lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours, so it’s not a long-term solution, but it’s helpful for temporary relief in between dental visits. If you’re looking for something that works quickly, this will do the job—just be prepared for the sensation to wear off faster than you might hope. ... show more
