While they're cute and rated for 4 - 5 year old, the design is horribly flawed. Size: 4 - 5 yrs Ok, not sure how they labeled this as 4 - 5 year old, but my kid's just an average 6 1/2 year old and her fingers barely went beyond 1/2 way in the fingers of the glove. We deliberately went 1 smaller knowing that usually these types of gloves are bigger than advertised. However, this was beyond that. Look at the freakin' pictures! The pinky part of the glove is almost as long as the other fingers. Thus, my kid's pinky barely slid into it. Fit While it seemed to "fit" comfortably, besides the finger issues, the rest of the parts "seem" to fit fine.... until you start moving about and realize they slip right off. There's nothing to tighten or cinch. There's no strap or draw string or anything like that. So naturally these will easily slip right off. It got so frustrating that my kid ended up throwing them off and simply playing in the snow without them.... with bare hands. Waterproof Nope, not at all. In fact, the description on this says "water resistant", which is not the same as water proof. Something can be water resistant.... but only up to a certain tolerance, then it becomes soggy wet. That's what happened with these. Water Resistant - barely, Water Proof - Nope. Warmth Sure, as long as they don't get soggy wet. Not sure how they'd hold up under "really" cold temps but we were in the snow under a sunny day, so it wasn't like we were all bundled up for winter. Needed new gloves for the snow and with kids growing they needed bigger ones. Great purchase, they fit good around the hand and fingers. No complants from them so far about their hands getting cold or wet.
