  • it’s all right
For $30 I could probably expect more. It’s leather so it’s easy to clean, and it’s decently comfortable. The nose-cover-attachment-thing, however, is actually surprisingly uncomfortable and i don’t recommend using it. Otherwise, this is an all right model.

  • Its Not Perfect
So I hardly write reviews for things but this popped up and I said “why not?” So I have 4 pairs of these due to an amazon order issue. (Not relating to the product at all) I utilize the multiple replacements for BeatSaber and honestly “yes they let some light in” but when you’re focused more on the game its hardly noticeable. The nose piece helps with the light but can be irritating so I just took it off. The velcro thing that they use is kinda hard to get it “perfect” but even “half-assed” it still fits quite well. I like how its a soft pleather so it doesn't fully stick to your face when you get all sweaty. If you have glasses they fit more perfectly than with the original Oculus. My one flaw I would say is that it doesn't venilate at all so it will fog up your glasses and the lenses if you play for too long. ... show more

  • Good value for the price!
You get a fairly good product for the price. Overall I think this bundle is worth getting, whether you have glasses or not. Pros: The custom cushions feel very nice on my face, kind of similar to lying down on a well-worn leather couch. I can play for hours with virtually no discomfort and only a slight redness on my cheeks, unlike the default foam which would leave indents with how uncomfortable it is. The glasses version is also well-built for wider frames, and I'm able to slip my glasses in and out without issues. The frame itself holds up well and the weird not-velcro-but-still-kinda-velcro material the cushions stick to has a very good hold, no slippage. Cons: The nose piece, while very useful in keeping out condensation, clamps down on the sides of my nose and impacts breathing somewhat. I think the edges holding the nose piece in could be sticking out a bit too much, if the nose area was widened somehow that'd help a lot with that. Also the lens cover is by far the weakest item in the bundle, you receive a lens cover that doesn't fit in easy and feels like the size was cut a little too big. Also the material feels very capable of scratching the lenses. It works in a pinch but I can't recommend it for prolonged use. The instructions are also vague, they don't tell you how to properly install the custom frame, just that you put it in. I had worried I received a defected product when I thought I couldn't get the frame to fit, only to realize I needed to keep pushing until I heard a click. Also you will get a bit sweaty, likely because of the materials. ... show more

  • Helps with Godrays and eliminating light through the nose area!
The reason I purchased the new foam cover was to help with overlapping lenses. That is where you can see a vertical line to the far right or left of you periphery vision. From reading the reviews it looked like the cover pushed your face back a bit from the headset, and it does. It keeps your face back just a bit from the lenses, and in my case eliminated the vertical lines from my periphery vision. Above, is the reason I purchased the VR Facial Interface. One of the unintended pluses of this item, at least for me, is that it changes the point where my eyes look into the lenses. Which moves the horrible godrays from pointing straight in my eyes. The godrays are still there, and they are annoying, but not as much as before. Everyone's head is different, so your experience may be different. I'm IPD is right around 65, just for reference. Another plus of the VR Facial Interface, is the elimination of light from the nose area. There is still a tiny area you can see through, but it is no longer a distraction. The only issue I had, and it is minor because this item solved so many other issues for me, is the new foam replacement is a bit stiff. It is not as comfortable as the original foam. I guess in my case this will help because it keeps my eyes a tiny bit back, and helps with the overlapping lenses issues and godrays. Overall 5/5 Awesome :) ... show more
