  • Close, but not quite.
Color: White
These make the controller much more combatable in my hands, and the knuckle straps are a must have in my opinion. However, AMVR dropped the ball somewhat. If you use the velcro strap around the controller ring, it blocks one of the IR emitters (verified with a webcam that can see IR). Also, the non-slip coating on the knuckle strap stains the white plastic, I have been unable to remove the stains. You can see the stains in the picture. Also you can see I have cut off part of the top portion, as it wasn't needed for my hand size. Doing this allowed me to "tuck" the upper part into the ring, and they are fairly secure with out the velcro. ... show more

  • Flawed Design not updated for Quest 2
Color: White
While the overall quality is good, the grips don't seem like they were designed for the Quest 2's controller. The cutouts for the grip buttons are too small and interfere with the button itself if pushed down all the way. The top flap digs into your hands a bit when you go to press the oculus or menu buttons. The wrist strap hole never lines up with the actual wrist strap exit point. Theres always a small gap at the bottom of the controller. Finally, the way elastic causes your hand to line up isn't very ergonomic and the velcro securing the grip to the ring seems to interfere with tracking somehow. I can only imagine that AMVR took shortcuts and didn't do anything besides updating the color for the Quest 2. ... show more

  • I don't like these very much. They don't fit good!
Color: White
So there's an ingrained finger spacing on here that just doesn't feel good for my hand! It makes me squish my ring and pinky finger which is unconformable. But readjusting doesn't do it because of the design! And the top peice comes up just under the halo ring....but sticks out and dangles there. So you rub into it all the time which is annoying! Like why is it there in the first place? It's a design flaw! Plus these are just uncomfortable! I wanted something that makes it easier to grip, and doesn't get sticky after an hour or so of game-play. But it gets sticky, and is not comfortable at all! This is the only pair I've tried, but after 1.5months of using them, I took them off to change batteries and never put them back on! It's more comfortable this way, and using the built in dangly strings is easier as you can dangle the controllers, so that you can adjust the headset(which you have to do frequently even with a Halo strap!), and other things like grab a drink, a smoke, food, answer a call, etc. You always have to do something, so setting down your controllers, and picking them up easily is essential! And with those hand wrap style of controller grips, it just makes it harder to do these things! ... show more

  • Better than no grips, but better options out there.
Color: White
If you play Echo, some type of controller grips are a must. I’ve played Echo for months without grips and tried various gloves to increase grip, all with minimal success. I decided to get controller grips and started looking at options. There are so many out there and you never know if the reviews are accurate. That being said, these are simple cheap grips that probably cost very little to make. They did fit the Quest 2, but I had to make 2 modifications to get them to work. Out of the box, pressed onto the controller, the middle trigger would lock under the grip. I had to notch out a 1/16” on each grip below the button so it wouldn’t stick. After that. I had to cut off the XL and XXL tab because it was interfering. After a few games, the grips started to easily move off the controller, this is likely due to the hard plastic. They need to be tighter, use a more flexible material or have a better mechanism to tighten the grip to the controller, ie. zip tie vs. Velcro. UPDATE: I ended up buying the Kiwi grips, ironically they were the ones I was going to buy originally, but at the time were out of stock. They are the same price and in my opinion are much better. ... show more

  • Very comfortable and a quality accessory.
Color: White
These feel like they were precision made by Oculus! My 13 year old son researched this product and installed it on his Oculus. He had me try it out and I am completely amazed. The easily adjustable straps have soft rubber grips on both sides of the straps. These are very comfortable on the back of your hand and if the strap were to twist, there would be grips on both sides. The straps themselves are soft and have slight elasticity so they do not wrench down on your hands when you put them on. Adjusting the straps to tighten/loosen are incredibly easy at the bottom of the controller by pressing in the release and adjusting. These are a must item if you are an avid user of your Oculus and don't want the controllers to slip off your hands and don't want a wrist strap that may break. ... show more

  • Great, not perfect.
Color: White
These are my first knuckle straps. I like them. It holds my hand it the perfect position. They stay tight. They are comfortable. They look cool. Downside: now my controllers don’t fit the same in the elite case, but they do fit, just not the intended way. I’m not sure if this is normal for all knuckle grips but if I swing my arms around really really fast without griping the controllers at all, they start to come loose. But this is me being a complete idiot. If your not an idiot, then this won’t effect you. These are $6 cheaper than the kiwi knuckle grips, and they work great. If your strapped for cash, then get these ... show more

  • Not bad, but could be better for the price.
Color: White
Once it's all assembled, I really like the elastic grip against the back of my hand. It feels secure but I worry about it wearing out quickly. It comes with several extra straps to replace with though. The velcro straps that hook around the loop are poorly designed and are an eye sore. I wish there were something more substantial to snap onto it, especially for the price you're paying. I wouldn't replace these unless something much better comes along, but once they've worn out, I'll be looking for something else. Hopefully there will be better alternatives, but if not, these are definitely a good option. ... show more

  • Don't get white
Color: White
I want to like these more than I should. The value is definitely there as far as the knuckle strap. But I got white, and they look terrible now. The knuckle strap stains and they do not come clean. They're dirty looking and just gross. It's embarassing. I tried washing them with soap, vinegar, bleach.... they looks nasty. The airflow through the raised channels is kind of a joke. The part where you have to velcro to the ring must interfere with the sensor. Meh. ... show more
