  • Great buy
Upgraded the van to lithium and went with these. Absolutely great quality and batteries are lasting well. Much better than traditional AGM. Great value.

  • Off Grid Power Plant!!
Nicely built 200 Ah battery that I’m using to be off grid in our camper trailer. The handles make it easy to transfer especially with the weight of a battery this size. It will be easy to install and remove when I journey with our store the trailer. I strap it down with two ratchet straps. The terminals are very durable and high quality. I love it! And the possibilities it gives! ... show more

  • This battery holds a LOT of power.
I replaced 2x100Ah AGM batteries with this 12v 200Ah (Amperetime 200Ah PLUS). On a full charge, it will run my entire RV for 1.5 days (average 10Amps continuous and a couple of spikes of 60Amps for about 10 minutes for a coffee maker, and 2 minutes at 100 Amps for a microwave). I have Starlink mounted in my RV, and I use a power inverter to feed it. It takes between 7 and 10Amps at 12v continuously. With my previous AGM batteries, I could not leave Starlink on overnight -the batteries would drop below 10.6v and turn off my inverter in about 7 hours. With this battery, I can leave Starlink overnight, and the Solar will re-charge the battery fully the next day. I dont use my generator at all! It should be noted that I bought a $65 solar charge controller, and it would not charge the battery on an overcast day, and also would not turn off when fully charged! As a result, my solar panels overcharged this battery and the measured battery voltage was 20v!!!!!! While I NEVER recommend doing this, I was incredibly impressed to see that the internal Battery Management system on this Ampere Time battery was able to disconnect this incoming power and protect itself! Nothing even got warm. I did not really expect the battery to survive that, but it is still running with LOTS of power! It should also be noted that I bought a NEW solar charge controller from Renogy (40Amps), and that device does NOT overcharge the battery, but is also allows the solar to charge the battery on an overcast day. The previous charge controller would only put out power when the solar was in direct sunshine, which severely impacted the charging performance. The problem was the solar charge controller, not the battery. The battery is awesome! I highly recommend this battery, and I am sure I will buy another one in the future. Update: I (accidentally) tested the undervoltage protection, and I am happy to say that worked also. I was monitoring it overnight while running the 6-10Amp load (Starlink), and around midnight, it was down to 12.8v. I felt it would be ok until morning. Well I was wrong. I checked on it at 7AM and it was 0v - dead as dead could be. I disconnected the battery and left it while I worked for the day. Around 4PM, I put a volt meter on it and it showed 11.5v. I reconnected it, and charged with a 110v (shore power) charger, and it was accepting 20Amps of charge and quickly raised to 12.5v I will let it charge fully now, but I was happy to see I had not permanently damaged it. I highly recommend this battery, and I am sure I will buy another one in the future. ... show more

  • High value
Replaced 16 lead acid AGM batteries with 4 Ampere Time 12V 200 AH Plus Lithium LiFePO4 batteries, configured in series for 48v for a solar installation. 48v*200AH = 9600 Wh. This cost me 2x what I paid for the lead acid batteries, which I got 4 years out of until they didn't hold a charge. So, if these lasts 2.5 times longer for 2x the $ then great, good deal. If they're still running great in 10 years, then I'll know it was worth it. The lead acid ones decayed in quality over time too. The first 2 years were great, then declined in charge holding over the last 2 years; 8:1 ratio, at the end I could only get 1 hour of power where I used to get 8 hours. When that decayed to < 1 hour, I recycled and bought these Ampere LiFePO4s. My hope is these will keep their 200AH charge capacity for the full 10 years. Time will tell. I read the other reviews about charging <0C is very bad, can, probably will, ruin the batteries. I'll have to run a heater in the winter to keep it above 0C. It can get down to -12C here, rarely colder, but a few times this cold every year. The solarshed is insulated, so a small space heater will solve the problem, but also use up power. I'll have to carefully monitor temperature, but I think the space heater at the lowest setting should keep it >0C. My only complaint: While I really appreciated the paperwork that comes with each battery: thick stock, colored, illustrated, connection tips, charging tips, however: I have a pair of outback FM60 Flexmax charge controllers. They have no "14.6V B04 Mode" like it says in the instructions. You should instead list the settings I should use, which I see appear under the "Inverter/Controller" section, but that's not anything I can set on my inverter. I used the Float charging and Boost Charging values for Float and Absorb values you listed in the Inverter/Controller section, times 4 since I'm 48v. I'm really not sure if that's right. I'm going to have to contact Support to figure out optimal settings for my charge controllers. ... show more
