Amour Tomato Paste, Double Concentrated 4.5 oz. tube is my purchase. I LOVE THIS AMOUR TOMATO PASTE❣️ It has the best feedback record on Amazon! A lot of praise for this product, from home cooks & chefs. It’s made by Italian Chefs in 🇮🇹 Italy! Non GMO, VEGAN, BPA FREE! It arrived in Hawai’i in an envelope in tact! I opened the tomato paste tube & tasted it! I was very pleasantly surprised at the fresh tomato taste! It was really good! Not bitter, not sweet, no salty, no metallic taste from being packaged in a metal tube. Which I had concerns about! And most importantly it’s fresh not stale! With a two year shelf life and a expiration date of 2021! Big points in that department for me, I wasn’t sure how long it would keep. Or if I’d use it all before it goes bad! It says to refrigerate after opening. No problem there, I had planned on doing that already! In fact I’d go as far as to say, “it was better than any tomato paste, I’ve ever had out of a tin can! We all know that almost nobody ever uses, a whole can of tomato paste at once! Unless their cooking in bulk. Most recipes only call for a couple of tablespoons per dish. It just so happened I was cooking Mexican food when the package arrived. So I put it to the test, I added 2 Tbsp. To my ground turkey meat filling for my taco’s & burritos. It was perfection! It nicely coated the meat, and gave it a tomato boost. I usually can only acquire by adding a can of tomato sauce & a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste! I also added some to my Spanish rice, I was making from scratch! This stuff is the bomb! No wonder they named it AMOUR❣️You fall in love with the taste! 😍 My family noticed the freshness of the tomato taste too! They even ask what I did differently, GUILTY AS CHARGED! I’m always looking to up my game in cooking! I have tons of cookbooks, and I’m addicted to the food network! I read a lot of feedbacks before I purchase anything, especially food & spices. It past the test with flying colors! I would highly recommend this product! This Amour company offers variety pack’s that fly off the shelf. Great prices & the convenient’s of having it on hand, in the refrigerator and in the pantry. I ordered the tomato paste double concentrated, more bang for your buck I was thinking! I ordered the Anchovy Paste too, it’s a great flavor boost for roasting vegetables like cauliflower, heirloom carrots, and turnips etc. Just perfect to keep on hand when a recipe calls for anchovy’s. Amour Brand also sell several tomato flavors, sun dried tomato, pesto’s and garlic too! I’m going to order the tomato with basil next time! This is definitely going to be a staple in my home from now on! Shipping Tip: First I need to say, I’m a Amazon Prime customer. It is so worth it, to me in particular to be a prime customer. Because I live in Honolulu, Hawai’i. Island Of Oahu I have had to master shipping things! To protect all my purchase from being damaged, in route to the Islands. I ship them separately! Especially the food items, I know the boxes get bounced around. It’s just smarter, to wait until I see a confirmation that my other orders have been shipped already and are in route that I can track! Sometimes that means I have to wait two to three days to order. Before I order more items, that I know are fragile, and hold a high risk of damages. I wait an order them separately! So far I’ve been very successful in my strategy. I order my toiletries separately, like my hair care products. I ship all of them together in the same box. I Never mix anything together with my food items. All orders of food that’s heavy, like can goods or glass jars, or perishables. That I buy in bulk or by the case. I ship separately! Sometimes Prime doesn’t cover free shipping on heavy items. And I’m ok with that, if it’s the only way I can acquire them. I feel thankful that some sellers offer the items, with an additional shipping cost! I have them all shipped individually to Hawai’i. The only time I order many items together, is if they are the same kind of items in weight & packaging. Like freeze dried fruits, great for adding to cereal & jello! They taste as fresh as fresh frozen fruit & vegetables! My pantry is totally stocked to the gills. In case of bad tropical storms or God forbid a 🌊 Hurricane. We don’t get Tornadoes 🌪 in Hawai’i On the plus side Freeze Dried Containers, doesn’t stand to get broken or smashed if shipped together! Better safe then sorry! Nobody wants to loose sleep, over something that can be shipped within a few days apart. I Feel blessed to even find them online! If their not sold on island in Hawai’i. Good luck shop safe & shop smart online! Think before you order ten things from food to decoderant, and expect it to arrive in perfect condition. After it’s been bounced around on a truck or airplane. Have you watch the news, when they show delivery people bouncing tv’s over a fence. Because their so tired over worked. Or just bit off more than they could chew, taking a delivery job! Delivery people are only human, try to think about making their job a little easier. Try to order things ahead of time, not at the last minute. And take into consideration somebody has to lift these heavy boxes. Then maybe just maybe, your packages will arrive nicely. Everything in its proper place. Be kind to one another out there! Just put yourself in the shoes and mindset of others. Think before you snap at somebody, we’re all just doing our time on planet earth! Now this is amazing tomato paste and amen you don't have to waste any when you cook like you do with cans. We cooked a variety of dishes this weekend using it and found the quality & taste is waaaaay better than canned paste! The only down side is the price.... it's pretty expensive and doubly so when I found the exact same product and size at my local grocery story for $2.89. Buy if you can pick it up for 3$ otherwise... check you local stores. ... show more

Many of the winter casseroles and slow cooker recipes I use contain tomato paste. I open up a can, and put it in the fridge thinkng I will use it again. Weeks later I discover it, and throw it away. What a waste of food and money. When I go to the grocery store, I either can't find the tube of tomato paste or I forget. I had a recipe I used last weekend that needed tomato paste, and I thought I would look and see if Amazon has the paste. Indeed, they do, and after looking at the reviews chose Amore Paste because of the good reviews including good taste. I have used a tbsp of the tomato paste, and put it in the fridge, and then used it again today. The second use looked and tasted as good as the first use. What a great invention this was.
