I researched a lot of different patio sectionals on Amazon for quite a while before I settled on buying this one. I was quite nervous because I was sure there would be pieces missing or they wouldn't actually screw together well. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! The boxes came VERY quickly -so quickly that I wasn't home that weekend and wasn't expecting them yet! They got rained on outside and it looked like the rain seeped into the boxes a little but the first pleasant surprise was when I opened the boxes and everything was so well-wrapped in plastic and packed well that nothing got wet at all. My husband then put together the pieces one by one. It DID take him quite a while. He worked slowly and methodically so it was not so quick. BUT he actually commented that he can't remember the last time he put together a piece of furniture that actually WORKED like it was supposed to. He said the instructions were clear, every piece was labelled correctly and not missing, and the screws lined up. (Don't tighten until all screws are in place.) He is not so easy to please because he's a perfectionist and he actually said I should write a nice review because he was impressed. The total sofa looks great together! I'm so excited to use it!! ** NOTE: the cushion covers actually DO have zippers so you can take them off and wash them. I looked at all the descriptions and reviews for that and did not see it written anywhere that they have zippers. It was a feature that was important to me so I was so excited because it felt like a bonus. **We actually did not put on the little screw feet levellers at all. We're using the pieces with the feet straight on the deck floor. **We're planning to spray all of the cushions with Scotchgard outdoor sun and rain protection spray. ****Just finished spraying all the seat cushions and back cushions. I did a very thorough job spraying every inch so there are no gaps or missing spots. I bought a 4-pack of the Scotchgard rain & sun protection spray and used ALL FOUR cans to spray the six seat cushions (top and 4 sides but not bottom) and the 8 back cushions (front of each cushion and 4 sides, not the back). I did not have any more spray and figured the bottoms and backs are not really exposed so they should hopefully be okay. I might buy more and spray the backs if I see it's necessary. ... show more

I put it together myself, at first it wasn't easy with the tool but I soon got the hang of it. We had guests over, a larger friend and he fit conformable, my son is tall and it fits him great. My dogs love it as well and it is very sturdy and nice

Can't believe it took me all these years to finally get this. It fits perfectly inside a 12 by 16 hard top Gazebo on the deck. Perfect year no matter with snow, rain, cold air or heat especially when under the gazebo. I love the netting which keeps bees, flies, and bugs out, but let's cool breeze in. I installed it one chair at a time inside the house in an open space by TV so I wasn't board. Except for the fire pit, which I installed last. It looks amazing. Complete set arrived in a timely manner. Was not difficult to assemble. Very nice. Ordered a firepit that was too large, contacted customer service to return or exchange. They responded in less than 24 hours and have arranged an exchange with free return on the original firepit.

As w anything, there is a good, better, best. I didn’t want to put $1500-$2000 in a set that would live outdoors, this is what we wanted, as it will live outdoors, not sheltered. It does come w a cover, which is great! The cover is a $35-$40 value and is excellent. Assembly was easy, and the back cushions are thin, so add some cushions as we did for comfort.
