I love the idea of this mat and it is beautiful, however dishes, especially silverware, plates, and cups do not dry. Also hard water stains the mat and looks very ugly. I have had the mat for 2 months now and it’s starting to stink. I wash dishes every night, lay them on the mat, and put them away in the morning. I don’t leave dishes sitting on the mat for extended periods of time so I don’t understand why the mat is developing a musty smell I have tried cleaning and drying the mat between uses but I have decided to throw it away mostly for the smell but overall it does not do what a dish mat should do. The image I shared was after washing it. Once the hard water spots appear the do not go away and yes I also tried cleaning it with bleach spray. ... show more
