These are fantastic! I even gave a few to our new neighbors that were just about to drill a hole in their brand new siding to add a hook to hang their house number/ name plaque. They didn't know such a thing existed. They ended up ordering some also. Once they hung their sign up, two more neighbors were told about these when they asked and ordered some. These clips are amazing. I was quite skeptical when I ordered them as I've tried double faced tape, exterior adhesive tape and velcro strips to stick to my vinyl siding to hold up an extension cord from laying on the ground. Nothing worked until I bought these clips. They're easy to install, have a strong hold and easy to remove with no damage to the vinyl siding. I highly recommend them to anyone. We got some last year and ordered more this year. We have used them for Christmas light and to run electrical cord for the pool along the side of the house. No more holes, or tape products. Super easy, just slide up under between the vinyl siding and it stays. For Christmas light we just leave the hooks up year around so we don’t have to rehang them every year. So much easier then Amy other method. Like I said I have ordered this twice now. Christmas light, cords, hung decorations, dirtied flower basket. No tools needed. ... show more

Whether these will work for you or not depends on what you're using them for. Very easy to install and remove, and sturdy hook. They don't lock in though. If you hang a wreath or something kind of heavy, they're great, and won't budge. If you're hanging light weight lights, they tend to fall out.
