It is light and can scoop or push. It has no front metal edge to catch wear out or interfere. Wears down slowly. Final key - you can add magic by spraying the shovel face plastic with rainx and slop ice sticky snow doesn’t stick. I go crazy when you pick up or push and the snow stays when you go to “send it”.     • Light, strong, fast, good shoveling!
Snow shovels in the store suck, this one is it! They all want to sell steel-tipped shovels, but metal strips just snag on any uneven surface, make the shovel heavier, and make only a minor improvement on ice. Much better to just use a light and strong all-plastic shovel which gives/floats over small pavement cracks or deck gaps much easier, then you can just use salt or actual metal tools to attack ice. Doubles as an excellent dust pan for a shop broom as well! ... show more

Haven't used the shovel yet so not sure about durability. Honestly don't think a plastic shovel can be that durable but we will see eventually. I also am not sure how ergonamic this shovel will be....
