  • Sturdy, well-made, perfect height
Color: Weathered Oak
Arrived safely and very well packaged. The desktop is quite substantial and the legs sturdy. This is a terrific piece of furniture for a small space. The height is a bit lower than "standard" desk height. I am 5ft 1in and most desks are just too tall for me. Not this one though, it's the perfect height for me. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Perfect height for using as a dinning table with sofa
Color: Weathered Oak
Searched high and low for table of this height and dimension and here it is. works perfect as I expected.

  • What a wonderful table!
Color: Weathered Oak
I bought this as a sewing table. The height and size is perfect. It only took me maybe 30 minutes to put all the bolts in. And if I can do it (76 yrs old lady with arthritis) anyone can do it. The legs are made in a way that the table does not shake or wobble. It's a little lower than most desks but I knew that when I ordered it. It's perfect for sewing, about the height of an old singer built-in sewing machine cabinet. My room is small, so I'm glad the table doesn't protrude into the room like a regular size table would. I found a bit in my drill box that I was able to start all the bolts with and used the allen wrench to finish the last bit of tightening. You won't be sorry if you buy this one. "o". (I'd give 6 stars if I could) ... show more

  • Too short
Color: Weathered Oak
Be sure to read the dimensions. This is about 3" shorter than a standard desk/table height. Otherwise it's great.

  • Nice Small Desk Some Imperfections
Color: Weathered Oak
The desk was easy to assemble, feels sturdy and looks nice in my small studio apartment. The desk top did have several lines against the grain that clearly weren't meant to be apart of the design. Also, when taking off a sticker label under the desk top the vinyl peeled right off with the sticker. I would be very careful with the surface. ... show more

  • Not a desk; but a great pair (or two) of legs on an occasional table.
Color: Weathered Oak
There is so much going for this unconventional table, and so little wrong. First off, as said in other reviews, this is not a desk. It's about the hight of a school desk. Not something you would want to work at unless you're in the under-5 foot set. This would be great as an entrance table, where you drop your keys and mail, admire the fresh flower arrangement and set down your gloves, hat, and cigarette case before regaling your lover about today's traffic while enjoying a well-deserved cocktail they had the Spidey senses to pour a mere minute before you arrived. Pros: The legs look great. They *look* solid like re-bar, but they're hollow and lightweight making the table easier to move. The top is not wood, but a fairly passable oak laminate, like laminate flooring. At first glance it looks solid, but it doesn't take much effort to see that the edge laminate does not line up with the ends of the "planks". Another PRO: the bottom of the table is finished. This sat at the top of a staircase and looked fine. Cons: The word "desk" in the description. This is much too small for that, an odd duckling of a size and height of standard tables (too low, short for a console table, too deep for an entrance table, too large as an end table). I've moved this piece a few times, and it now lives in my home office holding paperwork I don't want to deal with. I've put a retro school chair in front of it for fun. And because it looks like I have under-aged employees without dealing with pesky child labor laws. I'm tempted to buy the matching TV stand/entertainment center and swap the legs. (http://www.amazon.com/Ameriwood-Industries-Altra-42-Inch-Gunmetal/dp/B00L27K5KK/ref=pd_bxgy_196_text_z) Not much of a hack, but this table's top is a good size for a coffee table, and I think it would look great to have the A/V components at this table's height in the other table's top. ... show more
