The media could not be loaded. This is an amazing stand! You could easily use this for something other than placing a tv on, it's just perfect! Was it easy to assemble, yes if you are handy with assembling items. But I would caution those who aren't savvy, get some help. I did this by myself, took about three hours, two ciders and I only power drilled my thumb once haha. I read you need alot of space to put it together, I disagree, if you set all items aside and work smart you could put this together anywhere. The items are heavier once you start to see it come together and I do suggest an extra set of hands because when section 3 and 5 need to meet, it's not at all easy but again, It was just me and I definitely made it work without dropping anything. There are some parts the power drill won't work, but overall I used it for 90% of the project. When I got mostly done I moved it into my room and placed the back boards on and inserted the fireplace. I'm not sure if I want the doors on or not, which is why they aren't in this pic. Pros: it's sturdy and beautiful! Cons: mine only came with the fireplace manual and NOT the assembly manual. I had to go to manufacture website to download a PDF. So that was three hours of tapping my phone so the screen wouldnt dim. The ending: buy it!! The heat is amazing and doesn't take long at all to heat my bedroom, which is a pretty decent size, about 400sqft. I'm tempted to get one for my living room! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Wow. Let me start by saying that. I am literally blown away by the quality and durability of this TV stand. I scoured Amazon TV stands with fireplaces for months and looked through so many. I'm so glad I settled on Ameriwood's product. Easy to assemble, took a little over an hour. Very heavy, about 120 lbs assembled. The wood is very thick, only some of it is MDF. That's why it's so heavy. The shelves are very deep, and honestly that's a good and bad thing for me due to space. I would have preferred it to be a bit slimmer but appreciate the storage it creates. The top shelf grey wood is very pretty and you can find the same grey wood inside the cabinets on the shelves. The doors have tempered glass, very sturdy and easily wipe clean. The fireplace insert works great and provides a nice atmosphere. I needed a fireplace for my rbasement remodel, it's very cold in the cooler months. This heats up the 700 sq ft space nicely. The remote is handy and works well and the fireplace is also touch screen. All in all, a great buy and I'm now looking for the matching Ameriwood end table in white, though it seems to be sold out on Amazon. Don't hesitate to purchase. ... show more

Starting with the great delivery guys and customer service helping with the questions I needed answered this Ameriwood electric tv stand is perfect. It came in one large heavy box and was very well packaged. We were kind of overwhelmed at the number of pieces and large amount of hardware thankfully it had a well planned out assembly instruction booklet. We were glad to see numbered stickers on each piece to help in identifying them for assembling. It is definitely a two person job and took us several hours to assemble. We didn’t put the shelves in as we plan to replace glass with wire mesh and put speakers in them. We put a 55 inch tv on and it fit perfectly. The fireplace is very realistic and the heat output is amazing it will help warm up our sometimes chilly sunroom. The fan is so quiet we didn’t think it was even running the remote is very small but it works great (had a hard time locating the remote it was packaged and attached to cord on fireplace). Looks great in our sunroom sitting at end of room between two steps. We are both in our eighties and have to say it was a challenge for us but so happy we accomplished it and have this lovely fireplace tv stand. ... show more

I'm a 64 year old, overweight woman and assembled this by myself. Only needed help moving the TV onto it. After reading the reviews knew that I'd need to be careful with proper orientation or would have problems. I layed all the furniture pieces and hardware out in alphabetical / numerical order and ensured all the pieces were there (which also helped me get familiar with everything). The pictures do show proper orientation for the holes on each piece - be careful. It took a few hours a day for 3 days as my back would not let me work much longer. Nothing was hard, it just took a little time. Do not overtighten the woodscrews, just snug them up. I did not use glue but that is always on option. It was wobbly until the back pieces were installed and then it was solid. The fireplace looks great (have not used the heat and probably never will as we live on the Texas Gulf Coast). Holes in the back for cords. We love it! ... show more

I’m always a glass half full kinda person that’s why I gave this item 5 stars. The end result was what gave it 5 stars! Virtually perfect. The only problem you NEED TO BE AWARE OF if you buy it: the pieces don’t line up with the holes, you just need to make new ones in the cork. Easy fix but it’s definitely not perfect. Also, it takes 4 hours with 2 people doing it. If they never assembled anything before it will take longer. It’s a HUGE piece of furniture with tons of things to put together. Patience and a positive attitude will get you through. Over all, the Panals on the back are not exactly on correctly but no one will see the back so I don’t mind. It seems sturdy so far besides some loose small pieces. But who the heck is going to ram into this thing everyday? It’s honestly just fine once it’s all together, it actually looks better than I thought even though I know setup was impossible to get perfect. I see a lot of reviews about the heater not working, it’s summer now but hopefully by winter it works for me! In summary: beautiful piece! Rough setup. Everything good takes time and I don’t regret it one bit. Worth it! ... show more
