So, having grand experience in assembling lower tier particle board furniture, I was ready for what I was facing in purchasing this cabinet. There are two magical steps one needs to follow to make furniture like this work - read the instructions fully and match up all the pieces (this will seriously curtail the urge to throw the whole thing into the street to watch traffic smash it out of sheer frustration) and also use wood glue on the seams and in the screw holes. I needed an inexpensive solution for storage in my half-bath which is not frequented by anyone other than myself and the occasional house mate. It is a dry room, so moisture would not ultimately cause the cabinet to disintegrate. I assembled the cabinet quickly, it was relatively painless, and I did not need additional tools or a close circle of friends to both burn sage and cleanse my house of bad spirits and pray for me. Until I worked my way to the doors. I spent a good portion of my day trying to make the hinges work so the doors close. I had removed the hinges, rearranged them, reconfigured them, and did all sorts of stuff to make the doors close. I was downright irritated and did not think, for the price I paid for this cheap cabinet, I would have to deal with bent, poorly made hinges which will not allow the doors to close. I had even wrote a ranty review, because I did not want to spend extra money and time making this thing work - it's why I ordered it to my door from Amazon. I contacted Amazon customer service and the absolutely friendliest associate offered immediate assistance. I let her know I wanted to contact the manufacturer to send new hinges, and she arranged to send another whole cabinet to replace this one. I thought it was wonderful and actually turned my frustration around. I will say knowledge of assembling Ikea furniture would be helpful for assembly, but ultimately having some basic wood working skills, wood glue, and a good friend to help assemble this makes a difference. Sort your parts and follow the instructions 100% and it is an okay cabinet. It is basic and will look decent, but realize it is a cheap particle board cabinet meant for a quick storage solution. That is what it will seemingly do. Minus the doors, it is solid with glue, and I think it will serve the purpose of auxiliary toilet paper, towel, cleaner, and bathroom supplies well. If you need to store heavy objects (stuff you know weighs more than 30-40 pounds total, together), then this cabinet will not serve you well. I give this cabinet 3 stars because I cannot use it as I had planned and it is also a little more cheaply made than I expected. The instructions show better wood screws, it came with cheap drywall screw. The door latch is weirdly plastic and slightly askew, and I totally did not expect grey plastic handles based on the advertising for the furniture piece. ... show more

It was really easy to put together. It would have been a cute piece, but I can't even use it. When the doors open the whole thing wants to fall forward. So, it's just sitting there until I can find someone crazy enough to buy it from me. Very cheaply made. I do not recommend.

I think those having problem with assembly, are trying to do it with one person. This takes two people to assemble. and the trick of using a sharpie in the holes of the rough wood, this makes it so you can see where the holes are to line up the holes up with the screws. The doors are a little tricky, but adjusting them is easy. It comes very well packaged, with side protectors in the box. I had no problem with the directions. I saw the broken hinge review, when putting the doors on have another person holding the door, and the hinges will not get stressed. ... show more

i got this piece to make my life easier but the whole process since i click on buy was tragic. The product itself put together in the picture is nice and perfect but as soon as you receive the box and notice the poor quality of the material you already know u gonna have a headache. After almost 3 weeks I received mines with no back piece which means there is no balance whatsoever, an well i mean what am i supposed to do with this storage unit with no back piece? jaja. I decided to contact the seller to see if there was any possibility that i can have the back piece ship to me so i can properly use my product or well the leftover because it was coming apart while in the process. But NO i did not get he back piece sent t me, instead the seller offer me a $20 refund for it, YES a $20 out of a product that cost me nearly 200 , i mean ifu wanna get urself into this and the experience as well , go ahead. ... show more

I purchased this "pantry" to store bathroom towels and supplies in a small house. In the last four weeks, I've assembled five or six "DIY" furniture pieces. This item is without question the worst in an otherwise stellar lot. The particle board is of low quality and does not hold screws well, and unfortunate drawback since the item is held together entirely with screws. The entire unit has a vinyl (I presume) laminate over the particle board, but the top of the cabinet is covered only on one side, so raw particle board is either visible inside the cabinet or on the top. On the plus side, all identified parts were present. Would I purchase again? Absolutely not. Would I recommend it to others? Absolutely not. ... show more

This pantry was difficult to put together. It was difficult to line up the holes, and the long screws punched through the particle board in a few spots. The doors will not stay closed. I purchased this item so that I could have doors to shut to keep my dogs out of food items, but this simply is not going to work. The handles, by the way, are plastic. All in all, this was a waste of money. And now I have to figure out how to get the worthless item out of my apartment. I would not recommend this to anyone. ... show more
