When I saw this floor lamp, I thought that it would be a perfect light for behind the curve of our sectional. What’s even better is that it comes with a remote so I don’t have to get up and turn the lamp on. I love remotes! There is also a step-on control at the bottom of the light. All I need to do is to step on it and the lamp turns on. There is so much more to this remote that is for the lamp. I can set the remote for a 1-hour timer, obviously I can turn the lamp on or off, I can choose between natural light, there is a color temperature switch, a working light, I can turn up or down on the brightness, there is a nightlight mode, and even a reading mode. So many decisions to make with this floor lamp. It was great that the lightbulb was included. It looks like a tv remote since it has so many options. Very, very easy to control. I am also impressed with the black finish, and angle of the lamp. There are so many parts to this lamp that work well with my home. I’m thrilled with the lamp as a whole, plus the price is wonderful. This floor lamp is so great, it is super easy to put together in less than 10 minutes. Everything just screws together and the lamp shade clips onto the metal and Velcro shuts. It comes with a light bulb, any E26 dimmable bulb works, a remote, and instructions. The remote and lamp are awesome, with a press of a button you can change the color of the light to a yellow, normal, or bright white light, and all have dimming options for night or day. I wondered about how sturdy this would be, I didn't want my frisky animals to knock it over, but it is perfectly stable with no wobble or lean. I really like the looks of this lamp. I am totally perplexed by the random dimming, getting brighter, turning off and turning on. This includes turning itself on in the middle of the night!
