I review a lot of sub-$100 smart watches, and look for several key features: * Big, bright display * Good battery life (can't chart sleep if I have to charge it every night) * Decent selection of included/no cost watch faces * Good software app for the smartphone * App integration with other apps, like Google Fit One of my biggest beefs with these watches is the software; they all have similar implementations (a basic set of tracking features, all using similar Android libraries) and they share the capability to communicate with a phone, but each manufacturer seems to have cut corners by using extremely basic software that crashes more than it should, or is simply a marketplace for watch faces and not very functional as watch companion software. This app (KOSPET FIT) isn't bad, but it's certainly not the best one out there. It does come with a decent selection of included/free watch faces, and they sync fast. It does not sync with Google Fit, even though it allows you to log into the software with your Google account. The best part of this watch is the watch itself - it deserves better software than it gets. The display is bright, and actions/screens are fast - faster than most of the other watches in this price range. The display is almost 2" diagonally, which is bigger than most of the 1.5" watches out there and at this size that 0.4+ inches of additional space does make a difference - it allows for bigger characters and an easier readout. So far, I've had the watch running for 2 days and the battery is still at 96% - that's really good. I have the lift-to-read setting on, which helps prolong the battery. Two issues with the watch itself: #1: it appears to have the ability to assign the Google Assistant to the button on the lower right, but each time I press it, the watch tells me that Bluetooth isn't connected - but then the watch status is visible on my phone. #2: The rubber strap that comes with the watch was a bit stretchier than normal, which isn't a huge deal fore me, but the real problem was that one of the barrels that hold the spring-loaded pins was too long - the barrel itself was too long, not the pin. So one half of the watch band installed easily, but the other half wouldn't install unless I bent the barrel/pin, and that would have rendered it worthless. I got a replacement 22mm leather band from Amazon the next day for $8, and it fit perfectly. Leather seems to treat my skin better than rubber, anyway. First and foremost, the standout feature for me has been the remarkable battery life. The advertised 60-day long battery life is no exaggeration. It's incredibly convenient not having to worry about charging it every few days like with other smartwatches. However, there are certain settings you must have your watch set to if you want to achieve this 60-day battery life. For example, you cannot use the Always on Display feature, you must set it to where the face lights up when you lift your wrist to read the display. You may also want to not have it monitor all your vitals all day long. And another note, if you can reach the 60 days of battery life, just know your watch may be somewhere below 3% charged by day 60. The 5ATM waterproof rating is another great aspect of this watch. I've worn it while swimming, in the shower, and the tub without any issues whatsoever. It's reassuring to know it can handle water exposure without skipping a beat because I tend to get my watches wet often. The wristband, while comfortable, is a bit stretchier than I anticipated. This may not be an issue for everyone, but it's something to note if you prefer a firmer strap. One feature I particularly appreciate is the ability to program the lower right-hand button to perform various actions. It adds a level of customization and convenience that enhances the overall user experience. This watch has many, many features, and it will take some time to get familiar with them all. My biggest concern about the features of this watch is, whether they are accurate or not. I tested some of the features again an Ap on my phone and a fitness chest strap. When I say “accurate” I’m saying the reading falls within an acceptable range of deviation, as no watch will be perfectly accurate. - Stress reading – unsure. - Heart Rate – accurate. - Step count - accurate. - Calorie count – not accurate. - Blood Oxygen reading – TBD These are just a few settings this watch has, there are many more! It has a Find My Phone feature!! Love it! If only you could set the watch to vibrate when your phone was more than a selected distance from you. That would be a GAME CHANGER. Overall, the AMAZTIM Smart Watch offers excellent value for its price point. While there are a few minor quirks, its impressive battery life, waterproof design, customizable button, and bright display make it a solid choice for anyone in the market for a smartwatch. ... show more
