It says a little nutty, but I don't really catch it -- blame my still indiscriminate taste buds. It tastes like...coffee. But it was a good price for a big bag, and I thought I'd give it a shot after trying a few other brands available at Costco, which were a touch too bitter. Way better, though, than the green mermaid company where I find they burn all of their beans. After reading some of the reviews I expected to be drinking mud. I got this one since it was on sale for a very good price. Strong coffee. Good caffeine buzz. Mild tasting. No acidic aftertaste. Great price for value no sacrifice on quality. Sad it's not organic but oh well.

This Colombian is fantastic! This is high quality with a great taste and great smell when you open the bag. The grounds are nice and refined when you stick your spoon in. I'll be getting Amazon brand for a while!

I have been drinking Starbucke House Blend coffee for more years than it has been available here on the East Coast, and now find they are discontinuing it so I'm looking for a suitablr replacement and thought i'd try this. I have been a fan of Peets Major Dickerson's dark roast blend for over 20 years. I started with beans and moved on to ground. I was tired of the price increases and reduced size of the bags and tried Amazon Dark roast and really liked the flavor. It is much fresher than the store bought Major Dickerson's coffee and appears to be a bit stronger. If you have stayed with a dark roast blend for a long time, you might want to try Amazon's Dark Roast. The price seems fair to me. ... show more

Hazelnut coffee is the favorite at our house. Amazon Fresh Hazelnut delivers what the name says. It's also a good buy as compared to some of the other hazelnut coffees--and it's available right to your door. Worth your consideration in my opinion
