Don’t buy this. Yes it’s very comfortable and lightweight but the cons totally outweigh the pros. After the first wash, the cotton within bunched up. The worst part is that as soon as you get on it or even lean on it, lint balls attach to your clothes. My daughter gets on it and passes lint to the ENTIRE house. It’s literally insane that one comforter can cause this. Literally mind blowing how much cleaning this has caused me. Trying to save some money and buy a cheap comforter has literally wasted so much of my time cleaning. I buy something on amazon at least 3 times a week. I’m an avid shopper. The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: Holy shedding!! Don’t plan on wearing black anything if you don’t have a duvet cover on this blanket! Washing consistently does mitigate things, so keep that in mind if you have darker sheets. After two months, filling is starting to shift, however, things even out after a wash and dry - I decided to keep the delicate/air dry for one and fully dry on a low cycle for the other. Fully drying it on a low cycle does result in a little more poof, but it’s starting to show some wear. The one that goes in for 15 on delicate and air dries looks like new. Nothing huge or noticeable by anyone but picky me, and honestly expected for this price point. Still very satisfied with these items and expect long term use. Note: Video review was completed prior to actual use, so performance is covered here. Dimensions - True to size on length. Short 1” on length, but not a big deal to me. Texture - Extremely soft! I was very surprised as I was expecting a cheap cotton-like feel but it’s much silkier. Weight - The best way to describe it is soft and light, yet with substance. Composition/Build Quality - Full box stitch all the way through body, and double-stitch PLUS piping on edges as well as tab for use as insert. Measurement - The description says 102x90”, though I got 101x90”. That doesn’t matter to me though, it covers my 13” thick mattress on ALL sides, unlike the $40 comforter I just bought from another company that claimed the same measurement. Performance - After washing twice (cold delicate) and drying (delicate/finish with air dry) there have been no loose threads, pulled stitching, or compromise in quality. I’m a cold sleeper and my husband is a hot sleeper. He still, for some reason, won’t sleep with just a sheet and needs “something”. This works perfectly for both of us, though I still use a quilt on top of the comforter...I’m a reeeeally cold sleeper. Not even the high-end hotel comforters keep me warm! My hubby loves this thing and says it’s perfect; not too hot and not too heavy. So, it not only costs half the price for a comparable product, it also has settled marital disputes! If it could only fix snoring... Overall this is, unquestionably, a sound purchase decision. Based on quality I do expect it to hold up well over time but will update as time goes by. I highly recommend this comforter and will be buying one for every bed in this house as well as for gifts! At first I loves this comforter. Its light, warm. And has tabs to keep the duvet cover in place. The stuffing that comes out of the comforter is INFURIATING. Even after washing it, I had problems with the stuffing. Everytime I had to change the duvet cover I had to carefully take it off and make sure the comforter didn't touch anything but the inside of the next duvet cover. My lint trap is full of fluff after I wash the duvet cover that was on it. It gets everywhere. Made the mistake of carrying the comforter in my arms without a cover and had to use multiple sheets of lint rollers to un fluff myself. Eventually shoved this comforter in a bag and stuffed it in storage. Good price. Not worth the stress the stuffing brings. ... show more

Be warned. This comforter produces extreme heat. I was not able to go a full night without waking up drenched in sweat. Might work well if you sleep outdoors covered in snow but I would avoid at all costs if you run warm in bed.

However, I literally washed it one time and now it's completely ruined with the filling in large, clumpy balls in every baffle box.
