I’d like a bit more meat, but as dry foods go, this is a good value. I use as a mix-in to my very high-meat raw, as a kind of cya for mini-nutrients and an extender. The dogs happily eat it as a single food, too.

5-Stars for Ingredients: I really wanted to like this puppy food. It's well reviewed here on Amazon and on several dog food review websites. The ingredient list is excellent and it's much more economical than other foods of similar quality. 2-Stars for Flavor: Our Labrador puppy simply didn't like it. Every meal was a struggle to get her to eat - you could tell it was a last resort. I finally gave up after feeding half a bag and got puppy food of the same brand as our senior's dog food. She attacked the bowl so quickly that I felt bad that we'd tried to get through the bag of Wag. I tried to do a slow change over (as recommended) but she just ate around it. Our senior dog - who hoovers most any food - never went after the Wag puppy food either. 3-Stars for Freshness: I found the Wag food to have a funky odor - like stale / cheap pig ears. I originally dismissed it as "it's dog food" but after comparing it to the smell (or lack thereof) of the new food, it's notable enough for me to consider it either a flavor or freshness issue. 3-Stars Overall: I would recommend buying a small bag to taste test first. It's ingredient quality and price are worth the gamble to find out if your puppy likes it or not. Just be aware that this food is probably not for picky eaters. ... show more

Pups love this. In fact the little boy will puke eating anything else!! Get car sick and just over all can’t tolerate other ‘grain free’ foods (grandma watched them and the pups got into her Rachel Ray small dog food which I think is to be grain free). The little girl (sis and bro from same litter) doesn’t have as much trouble switching foods. But the boy is a boy and starving all the time I just wish the puppy food had more flavors. Both pups rather eat other food for the flavor but since their 5 ish months old now I’m gonna start mixing big dog food into theirs so it’ll be a bit cheaper on me (both pups are 35 ish lbs and we expect the boy to be 50 lbs by one year of age. Girl will be smaller) but they go though one puppy bag of food every two weeks or less They also get my older dogs left overs and we feed them meat n extra veggies from dinner a few times a week typically also to supplement their food intake. The puppy’s have free range automatic feeder outside where we are a lot of the time they ate the same when it was inside the camper also. ... show more

I have been using Wag dry dog food for over a year now. My dog loves it, he will eat this over other kibbles that he turns his nose up at. Then we got the puppy! He loves it too, eating every bit. Thank you Amazon :)

My puppy really doesn't like this food. She is a poovanese and really wants to eat anything and everything else. BUT I keep putting this WAG out for her to eat ONLY. Yet, she tries to eat the food I give my cats and the outdoor old dog. She in fact runs to these feed dishes when we are outside. She also wants to eat people food. So, I constantly entice her to go back to her WAG feed and I suppose it is keeping her alive and healthy but she really would prefer anything else. So, I have an large unopened bag still, and have been feeding the first bag for 4 months now. Still have some. I am now trying to find a healthy choice for her that she will eat. ... show more

We have two puppies eating this food and they love it. They won’t eat anything else, not even the more expensive dog food we had purchased before getting this on the fly. We ran out of our regular food and this was able to arrive soonest. Never going back!
