Not a paid review – bought these with my own money because caffeine is a necessity, not a luxury. These pods may not have a fancy name, but they brew up a solid cup of dark roast goodness. I'm not going to pretend coffee from a pod can compete with freshly roasted, ground pour-over at precisely 205⁰, but in the wise words of Kimberly "Sweet Brown" Wilkins, Ain't nobody got time for that! I tried Amazon's other brand of coffee, Happy Belly I think it is. My belly was, in fact, not happy. Neither were my taste buds. This brand is significantly better. Dark, lots of flavor, not too bitter, hints of caramel and chocolate... Oh who am I foolin'? It's coffee from a pod. It gets the job done for way less money than 5bucks and quicker than pour over. I did my homework, reading dozens of reviews before I purchased the Solimo Dark Roast Coffee Pods. The coffee is dark, strong, aromatic and has a wonderful taste. One of the best features is the price...so much less expensive than the other main brands, and equally delicious.

This is a great price for a great Kcup. I have the Keurig that identifies the pods I use. To be clear - the Amazon brand pods can never be identified, but you can still use them equally well. I have ordered these pods a few times and really enjoy the flavor and value. However, the previous 2 orders contained defective and broken pods (see photo). When I reached out to customer service, they said that this product is not eligible for a replacement. I'm sure it has something to do with the flimsy box the pods are packaged in, so buyer beware. I'm going to look for other espresso pods that have better packaging, or at least are eligible for a replacement. ... show more

Wow! This espresso for "original Nespresso" makers and other compatible makers pleasantly surprised me. It came out smooth and creamy with a nice full-bodied taste. I am always skeptical about trying something new regarding espresso or regular coffee. My pallet is changing and I want something more than coffee and just a bit less than espresso I don't like finding I purchased something bitter and this was perfect. I only wish it would come with a recycle bag to send back to the maker the pods. They are of good quality plastic which does make me nervous to place in trash, so at the moment I am collecting them in a container and holding them.
