I like that this product doesn’t contain carrageenan like most other brands. It’s the main reason I chose to try it out. It also helps that my cats really love this stuff. Possibly going to grab the other flavor for my cats to try, but for now this is doing well.

This cat food from Amazon has premium ingrediens, we just switched to this after our other cat food got a price increase. Our cars are picky eaters but loves this food. They come running every time I fill the cup. Last time I order it, it took 5 days to get it delivered so keep an eye on the delivery time when you order it. switched to kitsy for my fully grown female who couldn't lose weight. kitsy has all the proper healthy natural ingredients that she needs and has fiber and helped her lose weight. i recommend for all cats and you dont need to provide wet food for them as well just make sure theyre drinking alot of water/hydrate the kitsy ... show more

Perhaps I just got a spoiled bag? Which has never happened before, ever. I wanted to like this food, it seems to have the right price for the ingredient quality, etc.. My cats just will not touch it though. At all. In fact, I've never seen them so actively avoid food. Oh well. It smells okay to me, but hey. Again, maybe I just got a bad or spoiled bag. Okay. I truly wanted to love this product. The ingredients are amazing and I was looking forward to finishing this bag & trying out the “whitefish” flavor. Unfortunately, this food lead my cat to pee & throw up blood. First it seemed like my cat didn’t like the taste, which I brushed off and assumed it was due to this recipe being healthier compared to the previous cat food he had. I wish I caught on earlier bc this recipe caused my cat severe internal infection and digestive issues. I feel like it’s important to mention that I didn’t automatically assume this food was the culprit. We recently moved to a new apartment, and as a result had to buy all new cat food (wet & dry) and new cat litter as well. When my cat starting peeing & throwing up blood, I took him to the vet and was instructed to first change the cat litter and see if anything changes. It did not & my cat continued to suffer. Next, I decided to switch this food with another bc as I wrote above, my cat seemed to be reluctant to eat it, which wasn’t true for the wet food that he devours in 5 minutes. This is how I found out this specific dry food recipe was what was causing issues for my cat. As soon as I switched to another dry food all the bleeding stopped. Most of the reviews are amazing, which is why I bought this. I overlooked the few negative reviews bc I assumed they were just outliers and my cat wouldn’t react the same way. I should have paid the negative reviews more mind. I saw one comment saying their multiple cats won’t even go near the food— and the stray cats that they gave the food away to also won’t eat it. Who knows if it is due to the smell, taste, etc but it is worth mentioning. Another comment said this recipe caused 1 of their 3 cats to have multiple seizures. This didn’t happen to my cat, but just something you should keep in mind. Like I said, I never thought my cat would have a bad reaction like this (he’s not even 2 years old yet with no health conditions) but clearly I was wrong. ... show more

Our cat loves this stuff and I have gotten around a dozen bags or so from Amazon subscription. He scarfs it down every time and to supplement it we top it with a little water to help with his hydration in addition to some wet food maybe once a day.
