Never owned a pod brewer before and this one fits what I need. I like the option of pods or grounds. Water tank holds plenty of water. Only negative is that my travel mug won't fit init. But works well!

It’s cheap and works. I purchased September 2023, but my product is nearing the end of its life cycle. It started doing half brews for some reason about 4 months ago (Oct 2024). I took it apart, cleaned it, and reassembled it for it to work as intended for approximately 4 months. Now it started doing half brews and/or not brewing at all and will make a clicking noise. At this point I will probably buy a nicer one at a business I can return if any issues arise (Costco/Sam’s etc). For the price you’re getting what you pay for. I have had this coffee maker of almost 2 months. A few weeks ago I was almost ready to return it. I had a lot of trouble getting it to operate properly, would not fill the cup, no water at all would come out, or it would only blow steam. Very frustrating. I accidentally found that the water container on the back was not seated properly. After filling it, it must be pushed down to make sure the water can flow into the heating chamber. If it is not, you will encounter the issues I had. It has worked flawlessly since I discovered this, both with pods and ground coffee. Once it passes the test of time, I see no reason not to rate it a 5 star. Update, November 2024. This coffee maker has worked flawlessly since my last review!!! This is a perfect coffee maker for us. We travel and I always hated that we could never empty the water out of the coffee maker before we left. I’d spend so much time cleaning it when I got home, too. This coffee maker is quick, the coffee is hot and it makes about 2 12oz cups before it needs to be refilled. Just a simple, plain K-Cup brewer without many accoutrements and features. No clock to set, no automatic timers, no temperature settings. Just a plain, simple, K-Cup coffee maker. Features a cup size selector with both a K-Cup and Ground coffee filter and brew selector. It has a 24oz water reservoir. Set up was simple and straightforward. The machine has an automatic shutdown/standby mode after use. The machine has a smaller footprint on the kitchen countertop. Reservoir needs filling after making 2 8oz cups of coffee. If you don't want to pay the big prices for the big band models try this amazon basics single cup coffee maker. You can use k cups and ground coffee. Easy to use and you can choose several different oz size cups to brew.

    • It works, but it will fail

After doing some research, and reading a lot of reviews of K Cup brewers, here's the conclusion that I've come to: They all make coffee, most of them do a pretty good job of it, but all of them fail within 1-3 years. I've been through two K Cup brewers. One lasted a little after a year. The other lasted about 3 years. There don't seem to be any models that have cleaning features, it doesn't seem to depend on the water used, the frequency of use, or anything. They just fail. So my plan is to buy the cheapest model I can find, that has controls for chaning the size of the brew, buy the extended warranty and cross my fingers. I feel like everyone buys these things for convenience, and I understand it. But in the year or so since my last K Cup brewer failed, I've been using a regular Mr. Coffee drip brewer. I make about 3-4 cups of coffee, which I can drink over the course of a morning. It's easy to operate, easy to clean up. My Mr. Coffee drip brewer is over 10 years old.
