I purchased this watch as an upgrade to an Amazfit watch I had. I don't really like the app it comes with so I purchased a different one to use. I am pleased with the clarity of the watch, it is much easier to read notifications on the screen. The fact that I can change the watch face is nice. I mostly use this watch for notifications, recording of steps and sleep. I don't use it for the weather as neither app has weather close enough to me to be useful. I don't jog or do any of the other activities it can track, but for someone who does that can be useful. The only drawback I have with this watch is the battery life. My older watch lasted almost 30 days between charges, this one lasts about 5 to 6. I understand that the screen clarity has something to do with that and the clarity is something I needed. The wire on the charger is quite thin, my concern is that someday the wire will break and since its specific to the watch I cannot just use any wire to charge the watch. The charger is different from my old watch to this one so I can't use the older one either. If anything, I'd say standardize the charger, maybe have the cradle end plug into a USB-c wire so that if the wire breaks the cradle end can just be put onto another wire. ... show more

Despite always owning Apple products, I’m not the type that’s obsessed and sees no other option than Apple, 100% of the time. I just enjoy their products and the reliable good quality. So, when I was looking into getting a smart watch, my first instinct was an Apple Watch. Nothing fancy or packed full of every known feature. Just something simple, with good sensors to help me monitor and improve my sleep, exercise, stress levels and a few other things. With that in mind, the Apple Watch SE was the cheapest model that basically did all I was looking for. But considering what I wanted compared to what higher end smart watches do, the price tag didn’t seem all that “entry level” to me (which I was expecting). So I did some research to find something that seemed like a more reasonable option and that’s when I stumbled upon Amazfit. I looked at a bunch of breakdowns on trusted tech review sites and used Versus.com to further compare every single difference between each model, which was incredibly helpful. The GTS 2e checked all of my boxes and cost almost a third of what I would’ve spent on an Apple Watch SE. If you have the same standards as I did and are questioning, I’ll just list the most notable differences. If you need a watch that you can answer phone calls with, can use for NFC payments, and connects to Wi-Fi as opposed to only using Bluetooth for updating via your phone, go with the SE. But if you don’t absolutely need that stuff, what going with the GTS 2e will give you that the SE cannot are blood oxygenation levels, much longer battery life with faster charging, compatibility with Android, always-on display, and a thinner, lighter and more comfortable watch. Weigh those pros and cons yourself, then go with your gut. The GTS 2e has a snappy, clean interface. It’s constructed beautifully and the watch and band it comes with feel very expensive. The features function quite flawlessly and the app is wonderfully designed. I really don’t have anything all that negative to say. My only nitpicky thing is that sometimes, I have to open the app in order to update and display the current weather conditions. I suppose if it had Wi-Fi, that might not be necessary. First, my review on the GTS 2 Mini: I absolutely love this watch. Quickly charges and holds the charge really well. I charge it weekly, but battery has not gone down below 50% in a week's time, even with having some settings that says it may put a drain on the battery. Bonus: it has the option to also purchase a docking charging stand which makes charging my watch convenient. Quite happy with it (so 5 stars for that), which made my hubby also want to get one, but he wanted a little bigger watch face, which the GTS 2e offers. Review for the GTS 2e: 1 star or ZERO. Received the first one 10/19/2021. Despite downloading the app and setting language setting to English, watch displayed a different language, took a little to figure out how to get it to change to English. It came with a dead battery, which despite charging it overnight, did not get charged more than 50%. Requested a replacement, received today (10/22/2021), didn't run into the language setting issue, but, again, arrived with a dead battery, and despite it being on the charger for about 6 hours, still not charged beyond 50%. Will give it until tomorrow morning, and if it still isn't charged fully, will be sending it back, and will NOT be purchasing another one. Quite upset with this, as I thought I'd be getting an equally great watch for my husband that I got with the Mini. As of now, I'd recommend the GTS 2 Mini, but NOT the GTS 2e. ***UPDATE: 10/24 The second GTS 2e did fully charge by the next morning, so I did increase my original 3 star rating, but only by one star, as it had to take over 12 hours to fully charge. Now, I realize, my husband tends to charge his electronics daily or every other day, so not likely the battery will ever be at a zero charge again, but, for those who may allow the battery to get low/die before charging, it *may* need to be placed on charger for a longer period. ... show more
