Handle is great. Strong metal. Lightweight. But not deep enough treads for elderly. I was so in hopes this would be THE ladder for me, but no. For anyone else it’s a great ladder.

Opened it up for the first time and set it up to notice rear support structure rivets loose and when I folded up they fell out , don't want to use anymore cause of safety reasons and I'm now past my amazon return date so I'm out 80 bucks

This ladder is a little bit bigger than i anticipated so it takes it a little more room than I thought. I was a bit weary stepping on the bottom step as it felt as if it would not support my weight, but the middle and top steps feel just fine. I ordered the chanpagne color for a more sleek than industril look and I’m glad I did because it definitely fits the aesthetic I was going for. I have cabinetry that has high shelving so overall this is a good addition to my kitchen tools. I've been attempting to ignore the fact that I may need some type of professional elevation when it comes to reaching items on top of my kitchen cabinetry. The first thing that compelled me to go ahead and order this one is due to it's weight capacity; the last thing you want on your mind is whether you will potentially fall on a less than sturdy ladder. A huge feature that I find tremendously helpful and innovative is the tool holder. Step ladders are generally for smaller in house jobs. These jobs don't require a tool belt, but you may need access to a tool or two. This ladder is also super easy to fold and the only issue I've had while storing is it tends to slide if not staggered appropriately.
