Cast in one piece of aluminum rather than screwed together, it remains strong and durable even under the impact of waves.

The AMPS hole pattern is designed to install directly in a boat, kayak or on any flat surface (Complimentary 4 sets of 316 marine grade stainless steel machine screws, lock nuts and sheet metal screws).
  • Heavy Duty - The weight capacity of the marine electronic mount can be up to 15.5 lbs at rest and 4.5 lbs at motion. Able to hold screens from 5" to 9" securely (available over 10", but fish finder is too heavy not recommended)

This mount is easily installed. I installed on my Bass Tracker console in the cut out for the cup holder. I used a round electrical box cover (with gasket) and it fit perfectly over the hole. It is a little cumbersome to get the nut on the bolt under the console, but using duct tape to tape it on to your wrench helps muchly. Use stainless steel with nylon bushings saves trying to hold washers and nuts at the same time. Nice sturdy mount. RAM is still top of the line, but this is a near match and works great. Mounter my Garmin ecomap 93 fish finder on it and it is plenty sturdy. ... show more
