I wasn't sure what I was getting when I ordered it. I was hoping it would be an ok quality, but what a surprise. This thing is really strong. Not sure if you can tell from the picture but I'm using it with one of the biggest neewer soft boxes and it holds it just fine. It's been like that for over a month and no signs of bending or anything like that. I don't worry this will fall over at all. I kicked the stand a few times by accident and it hardly shakes. For my use case, I have it extended to 6 feet high. I'm really happy I didn't go for the more expensive stands, this one is just great ... show more

Cuando dice en el nombre que está hecho de acero pensé que era cierto. Pero cuando lo recibí me dí cuenta de que es calamina con otro tipo de metal bastante resistente, pero no es acero. Comparado a los soportes económicos, este se ve bastante duradero y de mucha mejor calidad.

I have only used this lightstand a couple of times but it is awesome. Love the spring loaded feature. I was using some cheaper stands before and they nearly fell over with a large soft box. This one is very strong. It is heavy though.

I originally got these on a sale and they came to me broke. I assumed it was a product flaw. When I reached out to the seller they were very understanding and assured me this is not consistent with their product and even sent me a new one to prove it. The customer service makes up for my original disgruntle with the product. I did receive the new product and it is not in the same shape as the original. I assume I got a "bad batch" Edit to add, It looks like the original ones I got were damaged, not consistent with new ones. The new packaged items look solid. this is the original review " The middle section has springs in it. But the “cap” to keep the spring is a super thin. When I received these I opened the first one and found the spring sticking out, and the black cap in a plastic bag (the cap is not replaceable and it is broke) I get the other one out of the box and the spring is pushing the cap off already. I would love these if it didn’t come to me broke. And obviously this is a flaw ... show more

I got this for outdoor lighting for photography. It's got a wide foot base to reduce the chance of blowing over and it's well made to support the weight of the strobe light.
