Absolutely perfect match for my Garmin depth finder mount. Screw holes match up perfectly, it locks super tightly, it is very easy to adjust. I have mine mounted to the top of my accessory box on my Bonafide PWR 129. It is slick looking, looks just like original equipment. I couldn't be happier, and I will probably buy others. They make these in a 1 in and a 1.5 in ball. If you wanted to use some of the other ball mounts that are on the market, it would be a piece of cake to swap out the bottom ball and use the top.     • Hold up tablet mount fine in SUV
Product is being used to hold a tablet in Suv. for directions. The tablet is solid in mount. No dropping going down road. Using tablet when parked has been stable to finger touches. Directions are easy to read also due to stabilization.

This 3.5" double socket arm ball mount from Vaseswin it robustly constructed; beautifully formed and finished. Testing with a magnet evidenced no magnetic attraction with the arm or bases which is consistent with 6061-T6 aluminum alloy detailed in the listing. The screw and spring were slightly magnetic which is consistent with marine grade stainless steel. The knob has a brass insert and there is no way to tell if the brass is high zinc content yellow brass, hence subject to serious corrosion, or a marine grade alloy of brass. Given the high quality of components employed by this mount I'd be willing to bet it is marine grade but I'll probably put a light coat of protective grease on it before mounting above deck on my saltwater sailboat just to be on the safe side. Everything up there gets hit with salt spray and water eventually. All indications are this mount is well suited for even the harsh marine environment. I verified that listed arm and base measurements are accurate (see photo relative to pen). The round bases are 1/4" thick and have an AMPS hole pattern, which is a standardized hole pattern used by many device manufacturer when they manufacture mounts for their devices. The mount weighs 8.22 ounces (233 g). The double socket arm clamps standard 1" balls very securely and is tightened easily using the large, strongly constructed screw knob. This arm can of course be used with any attachment employing 1" balls (RAM mounts B size), of which there are a great many available, by simply switching out one of the included round bases. Bottom line, this is a high quality mount. I am confident it will serve well even above deck in a marine environment. ... show more

    • I would trust my expensive gear on this mount.
I got this mount to add to my film making kit. I have a couple of suction cup style car mounts that all have the 1" ball mount. This mount easily connects to those bases and allows freedom to block the best angles to film. A single finger crank-able knob tightens down both ends of the mount, allowing for a multitude of angles and aspects. There is only a single tightening knob, so it takes a little patience to get both sides situated as desired before tightening. I probably would not put a DSLR on a mount this size unless it was for a static shot (not moving), but for mobile devices and action cameras, this mount is perfectly suited. ... show more

The pattern on this mount work on my Garmin Striker 4. Success! The build quality on this mount is excellent. Super solid, perfect fit on the transducer mounting pattern. No complaints. This also works with my other 1-inch RAM mount accessories, so I actually mixed and matched and used a clamp mount instead of the included screw-in mount for the base. So, now I have a really solid mount for my transducer without having had to drill into my boat. Wins all around. I was able to request and get this mount for free from Amazon Vine, and I would have no problem spending my own money on this if I had to get another one. I highly recommend. ... show more
