I needed but one shade, so the fact that one of the pair did not fit well over the bulb is unimportant. The wire "gripper" (the part that goes over the bulb) on one shade is skewed such that the shade will not set evenly on the bulb. Thankfully, the gripper on the other shade is straight and fits well. Secondly, the shade is not as opaque as I had thought it would be. When the lamp is on, the "gripper" shadow can be seen by anyone looking at the lamp -- a bit disconcerting. I am a satisfied customer, however, but removed one star so that future purchasers will be forewarned. ... show more

These are supposed to clip rightly over the bulb and they do not stay. I've tried bending them to fit and it just doesn't work. If you slightly bump the shade when trying to turn on the light it's hooked to, it pops off. I'm not happy with this purchase at all.
