  • This case (bag) was bought for a Kodak Max Z990
Style: Shoulder Bag
The 990 camera is almost exactly the same size as Kodak line of newer Pix Pro AZ models like 528, 401. That's the others I have. There is not any problem fitting it or my accessories. The bag is a great value with side pockets and large rear outer pocket

  • I tried 5 camera backpacks and chose this one.
Style: Navigator Backpack
I love the style of backpack that has two levels. I always dreamed of something like this when carrying my camera bag in my regular backpack and not wanting to put things on top. The insert that comes with this backpack is meh. Since it's collapsible, it's too easy to collapse. But the rest of the backpack is great. The fabric is dirt and water resistant and is easy to wipe. The straps are much more comfortable than other backpacks I have tried. The side access to the camera section is easy to use. The water bottle pouch could be bigger but works for me. The tripod straps are done well - at the bottom but not ON the bottom, so you can still stand the backpack up straight, and the straps won't get dirty or scratched up. I like that it's slim while having a fair amount of space. The lower half is taller than the upper half which isn't useful for me. There's a couple of inches of space above the insert, and since I don't use very long lenses, it doesn't get used. The upper section is smaller because of that. You *could* put the camera in the top section. The insert fits, as they show in the video. The only think is that it's harder to access because of the flap. If I have to carry heavy things, I will put the camera on top and the other things on the bottom because I'm worried the divider will fall through. It's attached by velcro which isn't really that secure. Another backpack I tried had the middle divider attached with a zipper and that was better. If they're already using velcro, they could have made a wider strip of velcro around the perimeter of the backpack so that the divider can be placed lower or higher. I would love to have the chance to place it lower. Good backpack overall. Very pleased with it. ... show more

  • Slim-ish and stylish travel camera backpack
Style: Navigator Backpack
I just received this backpack and am impressed with the looks. I researched many camera backpacks that looked very utilitarian but not so nice for traveling and sightseeing. This model looks nice and appears to have adequate space, but I wouldn’t call it “spacious.” However, for a slimmer backpack that I was looking for, this is a good compromise on size, utility and looks. There is plenty of room for my 15” laptop (see pictures), probably could fit 17” laptop without difficulty. The pull-out compartment for camera and lens fits the body (with lens) plus two more lenses. It’s a snug fit but that’s probably good. My biggest lens is 70-300mm and that’s about as tall as would fit in the space. My one concern at this point is the stitching seems inadequate and has already started coming undone. I’ll see how well this holds up with traveling but for this price point, I’d expect a well-stitched bag. Will update after our month-long trip coming up. *** Back from our month-long trip, and the bag held up well. The stitching issue hasn't progressed so it just seems to be that one spot. I lugged this bag all over, stuffed it under airplane seats, and it fell a couple times but it held up well to the abuse and kept the contents protected. The only additional recommendation I'd make is to secure the camera compartment with a buckle rather than a magnet. The magnet easily detaches and since the zipper can unzip pretty easily on its own, the camera can slide out. Finally, kudos to the customer service, as they immediately responded to the stitching issue I raised and sent another backpack. ... show more

  • Brilliant small camera bag.
Style: Shoulder Bag
I have been using this camera bag for some time now with my Canon M50. This is an ideal bag for day to day use. In my bag there is the camera, which has a frame fitted, and with 18-45mm lens fitted. It could hold an additional lens in a separated compartment. Side pockets have filters and lens/sensor covers. Front pocket for phone or papers. Inside 'lid' there is the camera remote and spare batteries. For a small bag there is plenty of space. Very pleased. ... show more

  • Very well made
Style: Navigator Backpack
Size is perfect at least for my gear medium dslr and four lenses. It looks and feels premium. The only thing it could have been better is the top compartment. I think altura should add the velcro dividers option in the next generation.
