Awesome Little Speaker!! At an amazing price! I purchased for my sons to use while they’re outside playing basketball. It Totally surpassed my expectations. It’s got impressive range. The kids leave it on the patio about 50 feet away from the house and experience no connection issues whatsoever. considering how compact it is; it’s really powerful. Even with the loud sounds from the basketball bouncing and the cars passing by I can still hear the music from inside the house. The speaker is The speakerExtremely Compact and Lightweight. The battery life is really great as well. They get on average about 7 hours of use on each charge. End it also re-charge is really quick. I was introduced to Altec through the iM7. A phenomenal little speaker with unbelievable sound. I then bought a tiny Altec shower speaker hoping for the best. It was so horrible I avoided using it and it lived in a drawer for years until I finally threw it out. Then I saw this little guy and for $20 and good reviews. I thought, what the hell. This one might be worse. It sounds like it's being run though a distortion pedal, at both low volume and high volume. I'm now done for good with Altec. At least I have fond memories of the old iM7. Maybe I'll try to track down a used one. Not sure what's happening over at Altec Lansing, but fool me twice... ... show more
