I will say, compared to a couple of others I've purchased in the past, this is best one so far as far as sound goes. I haven't tried any of the newer ones out there, but this one was chosen because of the price. I made this purchase after asking my nephew what he was using to get such a broad sound from his phone. We are both musicians and download a lot of music. I wanted to be able to listen to my music openly while showering or just doing things around the house without having to use headphones all the time. This Baby Boom is impressive. I only gave it 4 stars because after using it twice and not using it for long stretches of time, the battery died. I powered off the device both times after using it for maybe 3-4 hours collectively. Needless to say, my phone outlast the speaker. Disappointing, as I was listening to music and it just powered off on it's own...like it literally had 20% battery life when it shut off. ... show more
