I like these gloves, have extra protection in the right places but still light enough for summer. They do need to be broken in. Tight fit when new but will conform to your hand nicely. I wear a large in all other brands even other Alpinestars gloves but had to get the xl to get proper fit

Had these for about a year now loved them more and more never left without them. And boy am I glad took a pretty nasty low side in wet weather today around 30 mph and knee is flesh almost to bone even with cargo pants. But my hands which I palmed the pavement before rolling are perfectly fine. They are very comfortable not too hot or restrictive touch screen capablity is average but not a biggie. But they will protect your hands and I’m glad. Hopefully I get paid soon enough I need to order another pair of these and I’ll be out riding again learning from my mistakes. ... show more

    • fit is perfect
fit was perfect out of the box. air flow is nearly 100%. almost feels like not having gloves on while moving. i ended up having to wash them and even air drying they shrank a bit and the carbon knuckles dug into my hand a bit. about 30 minutes on and they're almost back to out of box fit.

    • Stitches come apart
They are comfortable, and they look nice. But the stitching pops out, I sent one pair back thinking my hand was a little big for the size I ordered. But the next size up made it a few rides and the wrist strap is already separated for the money I would expect a better product.

    • A little tight
Gloves are tight like other reviews have mentioned. After about a week of using them for about 10 hours, they have loosened up to the point where I do not notice them anymore. I think if I went to a XL the fingers would have been too big. So just know they will loosen up and fit better after time.

Like a lot of the reviews here, I got my gloves today and they were so tight, I couldn’t even get my hands in them. I double checked my hand measurements compared to the sizing chart and it should have been correct. I’d recommend leaning towards a larger size if your in between sizes. I ordered a bunch of items from Alpinestars. But the packages got stolen or placed at a different apartment. They sent me a brand new setup. 10/10 recommend them. I’ve always used them but I’ve never had an issue until this shipping. But they fixed it all within 24 hours!

Order a size up. I usually wear a medium glove but took previous reviews into account when ordering. Glad I did. A medium would have been too small. They are a bit bulky but I guess that's needed in case of a fall. They are ventilated and keep my hands cool on hot days. These are not cold weather gloves. My only real complaint is that the palms and finger grip is too smooth. I really have to bear down when clutching and front braking as the gloves tend to slide on the smooth metal of the clutch and brake levers. ... show more
