I needed better netting to create netting cages over my blueberries and shrub cherries, along with a few dwarf fruit trees. This netting is much better than the cheaper bird (iykwim) netting - although it does snag a bit, not nearly as badly as the cheaper stuff, was much easier to handle, and is stronger as well. So far (~ 3 weeks) it has kept the raccoons, deer, and possums off the ripening fruit. No birds tangled in it so far, either. I wasn't sure it would work well enough, compared to the more expensive, heavier knitted netting sold elsewhere that I've used before, but so far I am very pleased with this purchase. (I bought the green version, and basted two 7' wide lengths together with fishing line to make a 14' wide net) ... show more

Lightweight is great. Netting (as is usually the case) is very flexible and stretchy, making it difficult to measure, shape and cut to size. Price was great....zip ties helpful....use it for one 'season' then toss it.

I have been using deer netting for several years now and this is the best I have found. I like that it is stretchy and soft to the touch. With the other deer netting I always have to fight with the placement and my fingers get cut by the rough netting. It cost more but worth it. I am already stocking up for future uses, and I am slowly replacing my older deer netting with this kind. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this net because I wanted to put a net around my home basketball court. Nets designed to catch basketballs or soccer balls were like minimum $100 and not long enough for the amount I needed covered. This netting looks and feels like there's no way it would stand up to a basketball hitting it but it absolutely does. I believe it's been about 2 months now with almost daily use and I do not see a single sign of it breaking or falling apart. To hang it, I painstakingly wove a laundry line rope through every single hole for about 50 feet of netting. Took me at least 2 hours. It was awful but the result was really nice looking. I wanted to do that for all 4 sides because that would probably be the best way to hold it up without putting too much stress on one part of the net. However, after doing the top I figured the cheap net wasn't worth that amount of effort. So for the bottom of the net I wove the rope through every 20 or so holes and I just zip tied the sides. I thought for sure the ziptied sides would break almost immediately but to my shock, not a single one was ripped the net to this day. I'm sure it will happen eventually, it has to but for the money and how thin this net is, I'm shocked how sturdy it is. Obviously the idea is for the basketball to not hit this net at all but even Steph Curry airballs sometimes haha ... show more

So much easier to use than standard bird netting. I question the width stretch ability of 7.5' since about 5' to 6' seemed to "be a stretch". Fortunately, I didn't need 7.5'. It does seem to be quite strong since extreme stretching didn't cause any loops to be broken.

I wrapped my covered patio with this so that my indoor cat could have a space to hang around outside when he wants. It's very durable, even when he climbs the netting for fun it doesn't get damaged. He's very energetic (which is why I decided he needed space to play outside as well) and really puts the netting through some punishment. There are two small spots where I accidentally nicked it with scissors while I was cutting zip-ties, and they haven't unraveled any more in the past month or so that it's been up. ... show more
