    • Super cute fountain & Great Customer Service!
I liked the size, design and affordability of this little fountain. I have a small deck outside my room that I made into a retreat as it’s enclosed with bamboo reed screen for privacy and ambiance. After adding seating, many plants, solar lights and other decor, I wanted a water feature, specifically the sound of water cascading. I needed something that would fit size wise and of course, look nice. I found this fountain and felt it fit perfectly for all my wants and needs, it is very budget friendly and arrived in just a couple of days. Upon its delivery, I immediately unboxed it to assemble, which was quick and easy. I know others said they needed to make modifications but I just followed the directions and it went together easily and as expected so, maybe there have been adjustments made on their end? After assembling I filled full of water before turning on and once plugged in, it was just as advertised and water was cascading down from the top tier into the bottom bowl. It looked and sounded great! I was very pleased with my purchase and took video which I sent along to friends and family who were all surprised at its price point and thought it was really cute. I don’t keep it running continuously but only when home and have my door open so I can hear the water. I sit out on my deck in the early mornings and in the evenings after work because it’s so relaxing, the fountain definitely helped me achieve the goal of creating a nurturing and relaxing space. Then this past weekend I noticed the water level was rapidly dropping and then noticed my rug was getting soaked. I unplugged it immediately to investigate what could have happened? I had not had any previous issue whatsoever with its performance at all. I refilled it back to the recommended level in an attempt to try and find the leak but couldn’t seem to locate it. I kept trying for a couple of days as I was really bummed not to have my water feature…I just couldn’t figure it out and I couldn’t use it anymore so, I got on Amazon to see what could be done…the 30 day return window had come and gone, I was bummed. I decided to reach out to the seller & honestly, was not expecting much but boy was I pleasantly surprised. Not only did they get back to me in a timely fashion responding right back to my email. They acknowledged my issue, verified my purchase and told me not only that a new fountain was on the way but not to worry about sending back the old one and to keep it for parts just in case! Wow!!! Not what I was expecting or what is typical, GOOD customer service is hard to come by and because of this, I would not hesitate to buy from this seller again. I had already shared videos etc with friends and family as previously stated and I know at least one of them want to purchase the same fountain. I will encourage them to do so for sure. It shouldn’t matter the cost of an item purchased, it should perform as promised and if not, it should be made right which was exactly how this situation was handled by the seller, with integrity and professionalism. The media could not be loaded. (See END of this Review re replacement) The whole set up looks beautiful but I didn't even try putting it together since the basin was cracked when it arrived. The box was intact though. Finish and color is gorgeous! Warning: It does not seem like a high quality item but I figure it will last if it is only near birds and not kids or dogs. It's very big and looks impessive so I have asked them to send a non-broken replacement. Will update when that one arrives!...AFTER REPLACEMENT arrived- WONDERFUL!!! See last photo + vid clip. Took a little time to level it but the assembly was easy and it looks like a thousand bucks! Also the replacement came free of charge the next day! ... show more

    • Looks really good, but not for heavy birds.
The fountain looks great and it's easy to assemble and it will work for small birds like finch birds or other small birds., It did not work for my needs, I'm in South Florida and I have a several varieties of parrots that go from small to medium size and as soon as they step on it, it tips over scaring the birds, I did try adding some weight at the base but that does not help since all the joints are made of plastic. Also pump is not very strong so there's a very weak water flow. ... show more

UPDATE: Well, folks, I've had it a month and a day and it just quit. It was burbling along fine this afternoon. I pulled some leaves out, tumped out the dirty water and refilled it and. . . nothing. I can hear the pump running but it's not pumping. Remember when I said I thought it would last me the summer and I'd get a decent one next year? Hah. - - - ORIGINAL REVIEW At $40, I'm not expecting Buckingham Palace quality, but good grief. In the first place, the seller's page says it's resin: It is most emphatically not. It is cheap plastic. And so it is so-o-o thin, flimsy, and lightweight. The package clearly had been opened before. The assembly process was miserable. Parts did not fit together correctly, instructions for the pump housing did not seem to fit the parts as currently designed, putting it together as directed risks damage to the pump but there's no alternative, and the whole thing when assembled is so lightweight that when filled it's very top-heavy and tippy. It's out there happily gurgling away right now but it is not even--so is the pump fully submerged?? Who even knows? The cord is so short that there's little choice of placement: Right now it's by the back door, close enough to the outlet that, if it does turn over, it's going to be really, really exciting. You will need a good outdoor extension cord if you don't want it smack up next to the house. They don't tell you this in their item description, but it's in the instructions. . . you will also need to buy a special cleaner, use distilled water, take it apart to do maintenance regularly, re-seal and re-paint the thing periodically, and even bring it in for the winter. What, like birds don't need water in cold weather? All of which is going to be a major pain since it does not assemble easily or well. Overall, I would say that I wish I'd gone to the garden store, paid more, and lugged some heavy thing home in the back of the truck. This one is not going to be worth the price or the convenience. I figure it will last me the summer and I will throw it out and start over next spring. I also wish I'd read all the negative reviews before I bought it, but it had 3 stars overall, it looked cute, I believed the ad's claim that it was sturdy, and I bit. Live and learn. ... show more

The fountain was easy to assemble and looked great. I was disappointed that it only worked for one day, but discovered that little plastic bits from manufacturing had clogged the pump (despite cleaning upon assembly). The fountain is made of plastic, but resembles that of more expensive patina fountains. It produces a soothing bubbling and trickling sound. As others have said, the tiers of the fountain are crooked. Placing the fountain on the ground and amongst some greenery helped to camouflage this flaw.
