I used this jacket on a trip from Texas to Missouri and back, and it worked out great! It did a really good job at keeping me warm in 40°f weather. Not necessarily waterproof tbh, but you will be dry on the inside if it's only sprinkling. It has a total of four ventilation zippers, 2near the collarbones and 2 on the backside at the base of your ribcage. If it's hot out, the ventilation is good when you are on the move, but as soon as you stop it becomes real hot real quick. Would recommend this if it's cold out moderate outside. If it's raining I'd recommend wearing a riding raincoat over it. As a side note, the front of the collar is real scratchy, I started getting a rub burn on my neck and used a gator mask as a barrier which worked just fine, the rest of the collar was soft, just not the front where the Velcro is. Frankly, 100% would buy this again, can hardly beat the price point. Also, I like the shape of it, does make me look boxy like most other motorcycle jackets. Size-wise, I am a 44-36-44 and got a XL. Waist was almost too big, but perfect on the hips, and regardless its got straps so you can adjust all of that. ... show more

This jacket is made well and fits very comfortably. I am 5' 4" and weigh about 112lbs, I bought a size small. I can wear a light sweatshirt with it including the lining. Very happy with this purchase.
