  • Great product

  • Feels great but too dark. : (
Color: 140 Buff Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This is a wonderful feeling foundation. It spreads well, blends well, and covers slight freckles and blemishes but I chose what I believed to be the lightest color, buff, and it's still too dark... : ( Can anyone tell me if ivory is any lighter? Okay, Update: I bought Ivory and I must take this up a notch from 4 stars to 5. The feel on my skin is fantastic, considering (I am naturally super oily and in all fairness I have NOT found a makeup that can deal), it sinks into my skin nicely, it covers well for me. What makes it cover well for me? I have light (sometimes ghostly where people beg me to get some sunlight) skin. Aforementioned, I have oily skin and very few wrinkles. I don't have pockmarks although I do get acne. My acne varies between whiteheads to downright cystic acne. There's not much you can do to cover cystic acne; they're not selling miracle in a bottle. It does cover whiteheads to the point where they are at least your skin tone. I am an avid user of retin-A so scarring and the dark coloration goes away quickly. I do not believe that if you have significant darkening from acne that this will be the product for you. For THIS issue I would strongly suggest Bare Minerals; I believe that they are calling themselves "Bare Essentials" now. It's that mineral makeup. Get the summer bisque concealer (if you are fair toned) and you WILL be covered. The main reason that I don't use this mineral makeup is that I don't require that kind of coverage and it appears to exacerbate my oily skin. The makeup itself is almost impossible to wash off (at least that was the old formula I don't know what it is like now) so it's a great go to makeup if you plan to sweat. Also a little moisture blends it in better. In fact, it is suggested that you spritz your face with water and blend in for a more natural look. NOW BACK TO THIS MAKEUP.... : ) This is a fantastic makeup if you have acne but acne that doesn't leave much scarring or dark spots. I would consider this a medium coverage makeup. Lastly, I would not recommend for dry skin especially if you are concerned about makeup that makes fine lines more noticable. ... show more

  • Stays on even while sweating, swimming or crying!
Color: 260 Sand Size: 1 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I have used this foundation for probably 20 years. It doesn't bother my skin at all, and it doesn't run, ever. I can be dripping wet from swimming or a hot, sweaty bike ride, or crying my eyes out, and I don't have to worry about it stayng put. (However, I am careful to avoid rubbing it and only dab with a towel or tissue when absolutely necessary.) I used to blend two different colors, but the Sand color was updated several years ago and is now a perfect match for me. It's easy to apply as long as you do a small area at a time; if you dab dots all over your face, they will dry before you get a chance to blend them. A makeup remover is needed to take it off; I use the Sephora Collection Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover to remove both this foundation and my Almay waterproof mascara. Revlon - please don't ever discontinue this makeup or this color! ... show more

  • Great coverage! Blends nicely on elderly dry skin
Color: 120 Ivory Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I’ve been using Almay for almost 40 years. This formula glides on evenly and stays on. It gives good coverage for aged skin and provides some sun protection. If I need extra protection I apy sunscreen first, then Almay TLC.

  • Lightweight, medium coverage, Semi Matt
Color: 160 Naked Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
So I started to change my formula when it came to foundation being that I wanted to go for a healthier foundation a lot of these foundations are not hyperallogenic, unless you pay for non-drugstore foundation the only foundation I know that are hyperallogenic, that are for sensitive skin are physicians, boots, Almay, some Revlon products and Neutrogena but Neutrogena has a tendency of irritating my skin for some reason. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone I’m acne prone with sensitive skin, I’m 28 and still get acne I was using the Almay clear complexion which worked really well with me but unfortunately, I had read up on using salicylic acid which it contains, that with time it tends to thin the skin it is not good for people of medium skintone Hispanic or black I’m cool toned with a tan I realize that it was starting to leave dark spots on my face every time I broke out and it would clear up it would turn into a dark spot and scar so I decided to try this formula which has vitamin C, vitamin E which is healthier for your skin I must say that I am very impressed it goes on smoothly and does not emphasize on my pores it does not settle in lines although I do use it under my eyes with a Real techniques beauty blender and the rest of my face with a flat top kabuki brush. take it in mind this foundation will not look good at all!!’ if you do not know your undertone and do not get the right color foundation I have went through a few of them by now and have learned. As for coverage I have lots of acne scars but I do not like to wear heavy makeup I use full coverage in the winter time only because it doesn’t feel like it’s melting on my face. So I would say this is a medium coverage I have not tried to make it buildable but being that it sets very fast I don’t know if I’d want to try that though. This foundation is really good for spring and summer time because it is so light weight and does not come off easly. I purchased the buff, natural and naked none of them matched me I went to Ulta to get my undertone went with Beige 240 The beigie has a nice pink undertone. The foundation is a Semi matte has to be set with a powder so that it could live up to the actual 8 to 9 hours I also use NYX Clear studio primer which works well with this foundation you can get a total of nine hours without it looking cakey or blotchy or oil breaking through, I use physicians powder to set it. If you are looking for a natural lightweight foundation this is for you it does not have flashback or white cast when taking pictures which is a plus!! I have used Revlon color stay, L’Oreal pro matte, Boots beautiful mattifying, NYX Total control foundation and out of all of these foundations I’ve used this is by far the best!! although Almay clear complexion one has a better coverage I will say that this is just as good!! Good for combination skin with oily T-zone, acne prone skin, sensitive skin. Once you use makeup remover, wash this off your face your face it feel very soft at least for me it does I think that it’s because of the vitamin E which helps a lot with my dark acne spots. I have not had any breakouts with this foundation but then again I never do with Almay!!! ... show more

  • You’ve got to try this
Color: 120 Ivory Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This is the best foundation I’ve found in years. It is thick like a gel and not runny like water, it goes on smooth. It does not feel caked. It’s nice and smooth. I Love it. I use either a brush or a sponge to apply it. My new favorite!

  • Only one I use
Color: 120 Ivory Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I've been using Almay's foundation for decades. When I had oily skin, the foundation for oily skin was my go-to. As my skin has changed with age, I've switched to this current foundation and am happy with the results.
